Maybe it's like the Monstertruck version of racing in the Pokemon world? Less speed, more special stuff?

Or maybe EVERYONE races on rhyhorns and your mom's rhyhorn is the top fucking percentage of rhyhorns?

Was it ever said what kind of race it was?

Wait, I allways just assumed that. Are you telling me you thought it was a race against OTHER Pokemon?

I allways just assumed it was a Rhyhorn race and that there was like a seperate race for different Pokemons.

And as I said, Rhyhorns would be more the "All terrain" race instead of the "As fast as possible" race

I was just thinking that those Ryhorn races would be slow as crap, judging by the speed they take in-game.

Like, it takes a full five seconds to turn around or something.

I've only seen them move in the anime and there they move pretty fast once they're charging. But they DO have trouble turning, I give you that...

If they stop short their inertia lets them slide as well, which could conceivably work like drifting in a car race, as well as help with cornering.

I never thought it was a race against other pokemon. I assumed from the start that it was a race against other rhyhorn riders.

Obviously it's a race to see who can get on their Rhyhorn and start riding first.

it's a race to see whose rhyhorn will actually pay attention to the jockey and do what they're asked/told.

Alas, Rhyhorn moving backwards for the lolz is a very real happening in the professional RR circuit... Jockeys, take note.

Hey guys I wanna train some bulky defense/bulky Pokemon since all of the ones I've done so far are annoyingly frail. Any suggestions, besides Togekiss?

P.S Round charm exists in-game! Probably shiny charm does too but we'll need bank for that.

P.P.S if you have any pokemon in gen 5 that use dark type moves, consider teaching them Knock off while they have the chance (tutor). It's really good now, except against Megas.

Nah, hanky helped me out while I was giving him a Gastly.
I like Knock Off's new abilities. It's so true to the typical dark type move... Weird negative effects for the opponent, y'know? And Dark types need a bit of offensive leverage. Except... You can only effectively use it once on any given Pokemon, and not at all on megas. Which is cool. It outpowers a +2 punishment so I think I'm gonna replace it with Knock Off on my Weavile. Gliscor learns it too, hmmm...

Wait, how has Knock Off changed?

It now has 65 base power, and it does double damage if it successfully knocks off an item.

Well then. What was Game Freak thinking when they changed that?

Edit: Apparently it does 50% more damage, not double damage.
So its base power against a Pokemon with a non-Mega Stone item should be around 97?

I've played a little W2 today. Finally finished the White Treehollow, got my shiny Dratini. Getting stuff ready for transporting. After that I ended up challenging the E4 with a single pokemon. And she defeated everything. So I was reminded why I love Haxorus so much.
Also, that I freaking want a Mega Haxorus. Haxorusite.
Because Dragon/Steel. That's what Haxo should have been to begin with. But GF, here's your chance to rectify your error. Mega Haxorus. Do iiiit.
