Wheeeeeee

My haul today:
Pumpdjinn the French Gourgeist - Lv. 34
Ditto, Lv. 30. I guess it's from someone's friend safari, it's got imposter.
A level 2 Scatterbug nicknamed "Modern," i'm presuming it will evolve into modern vivillon.
A level 4 simisage
A level 30 Japanese Fletchinder
A level 35 Gyarados
Squishy the level 34 Malamar. I know i already use cool dude, but come on, he shows up and you just have to take it.

When I have the time I think I'll start sending Scatterbugs into the wonder trade wilderness. Sounds like fun!

I just traded a Froakie with the Pokerus for an Ivysaur on Wonder Trade. which was pretty cool. And a lot of random passersby have been sending "Congrats" to me since it's my birthday. Makes me feel good.

Guys why would you send scatterbugs Sad that's sad and mean and also you're making me sad and maybe mean.

Vivillon patterns aren't egg specific, they're evolution location specific.
And I got some stuff
It wasn't too interesting so idk

Wait, they're evolution location specific? Okay good thing I haven't sent any out yet then. Probably going to do that post game in that case...

Nope, not true. They are only dependant on the IRL location of their "OT", as far as I know. I got a japanese Scatterbug once and evolved it and it wasn't my Modern pattern.

Oooooh sorry I got mixed up. The catch is you can't breed for patterns. Eheheh whoops. Mind you, I have some seriously coincidental vivillons now that are green when they probably shouldn't be...

SEPULCHRTUDE and i ran all over the friend zone catching various fraxure, ivysaur, wartortle, bagon, dragonair and togepi; in return for them,
i have received...:
...not too great a haul overall, but still...they made trading a very cool, fun, and easy thing in these games.
also there was this one canadian trainer whose name was BaconEggs

After wonder trading about 30 times today I have to conclude that most people suck.

(Come on, I really don't need your lv.2 Fletchlings/Weedles/Caterpies/etc.)

something i noticed about wonder trade is that, at least concerning trades from the western hemisphere, you get a MUCH better average of things at night. i didn't get a single fletchling, and only one of things like zigzagoon and pidgey.
i was doing this alongside a buddy, and he snagged protean froakie, infiltraitor noibat, sturdy bergmite, drought vulpix, anticipation eevee, and skill link cloyster packing shell smash, rock blast, icicle spear, and hydro pump.
WONDERTRADE BINGE 2:
weird, all the foreign ones i got this time were japanese.
even from brazil. and wisconsin.

Hmm, makes sense if you assume that only trolls/mean people and people who don't know Pokemon too well give bad things into wondertrade. And people who don't understand Pokemon too well are usually new to it and/or young. And young people are less likely to be awake during the night.

Yo i'm in school and I'd totally wonder trade at lunch and in my free period but my school's internet is password protected
I can connect to it, but it won't let me in because I need to enter the username and password
I can use the guest account to avoid being tracked but i don't know how to enter the stuff
Does anyone speak 3ds and know how to do this

Wonder Trade as a whole is better now that people have started breeding for competitive teams and they're putting their breeding rejects up for trade.

Umm. Not to rain on your parade OJ, but... It's always night somewhere? You're far better of looking for specific nationalities than you are an age group. For example, Koreans are far less likely to be awake at *certain time* than any given age group. (For me, that's the early hours of the morning. The later I stay up at night, the more Americans I get. Japanese guys are too numerous to have any particular preferred hour.

I can almost guarantee that very few people are actively being malicious in trying to scalp people out of wonder trades by throwing shitty early game pokemon into the mix.

I would break these people up into these groups:

30% regifting
30% trying wonder trade for the first time ever
30% little kids
5% spreading pokerus
4.8% trying to fill pokedex
0.2% trying to get your good pokemon

Hanlon's razor keeps me from flipping tables.
