Re: The Questions thread
idk, haven't seen that movie
Apparently it's half-live-action and half-animated? That's pure magic right there, who even knows how that works.

Re: The Questions thread
if your floating down a river in a concrete boat and the wheels fall off how many pancakes does it take to shingle a doghouse?
Re: The Questions thread
Well, if the boat is floating, then that means it is probably in open water and the wheels will do it no good until it's time to return to land. Though seeing as the boat is made of concrete, a high-density material, it might be difficult to carry it onto land.
As for the doghouse, it really depends what you're using the pancakes for. If you're being like a lumberjack and using the pancakes as sustenance to keep yourself fed during the tiring task of shingling a doghouse, then you probably shouldn't need that many-- pancakes have a high calorie density, and a doghouse roof generally has a small area to cover-- though they're not necessarily that good for stamina work, since the sugar and carbohydrates provide mainly temporary energy. Protein is probably the way to go in that case.
On the other hand, if you actually plan to use the pancakes as shingles, then I would personally suggest against it. Pancakes will fall apart when they get soggy from rain, etc. Also, animals will probably try to eat the pancakes. They also don't provide a whole lot of physical protection, so it's probably a better idea to invest in some real shingles, or just leave the roof un-shingled if you want.

Why is "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" focused more on Charlie while "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" focused more on Willy Wonka?

Re: The Questions thread
I'm not quite sure, to tell you the truth. I quite enjoyed both; each seemed like quite a distinct story in its own right. And that's really a great thing about stories: people can borrow ideas from other stories and make something different, thereby making both stories more interesting.Sandstriker wrote:Why is "Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory" focused more on Charlie while "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" focused more on Willy Wonka?
I don't quite understand this question. Please hang up and try again. (GET IT BECAUSE YOU SAID PHONE)

Oh yeah i've seen that one, it was pretty good
I liked the part where they had the dynamite in the car and they didn't throw it out the window because it might send the wrong message to children

Only if you're using the question with the intent to somehow influence your communication for a specific purpose.kotakun wrote:is this a rhetorical question?
Yeah, I think it's fractally nested.does a set of all sets contain itself?
Also guys I'm answering questions on my tumblr so go there for silly questions, this thread is mainly for in case people have an actual question that they are wondering about. For example, I was thinking today whether Newton's law of cooling works when the ambient temperature is above the temperature of the object, and if the law takes into account the insulative properties of a material. If anybody knows the answer, that would be rad.

Are you still going to finish reading my adventure and give me your opinion/advice on it?

Re: The Questions thread
What, the bird? I had a really cool idea in my head about a bird with hair, but when I drew it it didn't turn out as cool as I imagined, but still pretty cool if only for its position in the uncanny valley.OverlordJ wrote:I have a serious question about your avatar: Why?
Eventually? Sorry to say that I have a lot of stuff going on that I prioritize over reading your adventure. I could provide a review of what I think so far but this thread isn't the right place for that. Are you still going to finish reading my adventure and give me your opinion/advice on it?
Also, not all questions have to be directed at me. Anybody can answer if you have an actual question.
Re: The Questions thread
If the whole world suddenly had Pokemon, would you use your battling skills to righteously kick-ass with them before the skill difference levels out? I gotta say... All those hipstery charizard-toting genwunners would be in for quite a shock if they come across me in an alley.
Also would you feel an undue sense of superiority, and would it be justified? Dare I say: Pokemon trainer master race?

Re: The Questions thread
Honestly, I probably wouldn't use my Pokemons to battle others, if it can be avoided.
Maybe my friends or wild pokemons so that they evolve but definitely not some random person I meet somewhere.
Though I might become a breeder or something and then sell baby Pokemons to children.

Gelatino, I'm ashamed of you. You didn't mention Russell's Paradox at all. I gave you the perfect opening and everything.
