I'm disappointed that the first time they made a member of the E4 a villain they didn't reveal it until after the post game was almost over. oh, well.

on a related question, which chamber is your favourite?
Dragonmark chamber has an awesome animation
Flood chamber is simply crazy
Ironwork is cool because Wilkstorm is so hella eager
Blazing chamber, well, it is blazing alright (my least fav)
Radiant chamber is dazzling. Also, D's battle theme is really cool.

I hate them all equally. They take so fucking long with these obnoxiously high elevators and overly elaborate animations when I'm just trying to grind for EXP.

Using the E4 for EXP? Why? There are much better options; both Battle Chateau (can have lv80 opponents+up to lv60 Audinos) and the two post game Restaurants are better options.

Don't the post game restaurants cost hundreds of thousands of dollars

E4 also has the advantage of monetary gain

Restaurant Le Wow, the 3 stars restaurant costs 100'000, pokemon are at lv63. Without o-power and amulet coin the reward for battles is 32'256. When you're done you get Balm Mushrooms based on your performance, the max being 25, if you've done it perfectly. That's about 200'000 all together. You essentially doubled your money without using o-power or AC.
Sushi High Roller on the other hand costs 500'000 and only gives about 30'000+ 25 Big Nuggets, so you can only lose money there. But the difference between the two restaurants is two levels.
So...
Le Wow > E4 in every way.

Most people in Battle Chateau give you 10'000+ money with o-power for defeating them, and the most expensive Writ costs 300'000.

You should definitely try them.

Although I do have to admit that I'm partial to Battle Chateau.

Don't forget to work at Hotel Richissime each day for even more money. At the highest pay grade, you'll get 50,000 for each successful task completion (that's 150,000 per day if you do all three perfectly). If nothing else, it can help offset the cost of the restaurants.
