Quilladin's base Defense is 95. Keep in mind Feint's base power is only 30, and EV's, IV's, Natures, and levels could be playing a part in this.

You know what's pretty cool? Now with the GTS/PSS and new breeding mechanics and Super Training and competitive all of a sudden being far more accessible than it's ever been, pretty soon the line between casual and competitive will get sorta blurry. It could get to a point where each of us has a team of our favourite/signature pokemon* and we can still all challenge each other to high-octane matches.

We are the gym leaders guys.

I'm actually seriously considering trying to put together a competitive team. Also, someone at my school is trying to put together a Pokémon League, and I want to be the Poison gym leader.

Malamar? Okay, to be fair, gen 6 is really small. Gen 5 has shedloads of neat pokemon probably only because it's really large. I'm going to believe you're not choosing gen 6 because none of them (read: 2) are really suited to you as a trainer, as opposed to 'gen 6 totes sucks a$$ guiz'. (Inb4 you say both things are true Neutral

)

Also cA you could look at setting up an officially sponsored league if you can find someone with the time to do the things and also a place to hold it e.g a games/merch store.

Sorry, if you're a Psychic Gym Leader and don't use Espurr, you're doing it wrong.

Anyway, I recall that we were talking about our own game once. Hanky and OJ were the leaders of the villain teams and we were Gym Leaders. And maybe Hanky was a Gym Leader too? The Evil Team had most Gyms under it's control, but there were some who were still free.
Or something like that.
That was cool. We should talk about that again.

It's not because I hate gen 6 (I don't even hate gen 6, I just don't like it and think it did a lot of stupid and/or disapointing stuff)

It's because I don't like any of this gens psychic types.
There is Delphox, who I'd like to avoid because it's a starter.
I am not a big fan of Espurr and Meowstic.
I greatly dislike Malamars design and I don't like it's playstyle.
And that's it. Those are all of this gens psychic types.
A starter, an ugly upside down squid and a little cat.
This gen has introduced the fewest psychic types out of any gen. To be fair, they didn't introduce that many Pokemons at all but still.

But screw mono-type leaders. I don't want to aspire to Champion but dammit I am getting a civil service job in the Pokémon universe and I'll be damned if I'm using a single type! Screw that!

2. Cats
3. Aristocats
4. One of the few pokemon who can high-five you in every evolution stage.

5. It's freaking description:

I dunno. Not using a single type as a Gym Leader just feels... wrong. Anybody can win using multiple types.

But maybe themes?

also yknow whats something id like to see? Gym leaders that aren't single-typed... But still themed after something else. Like I don't know... Focused on a certain stat, or maybe on specific abilities... methods of battling... It could be cool. But first, Dark-type gym, of course mspa

Rain dance gym. Primarily water but a whole bunch of other things. Trick room gym. Stat-upping gym with baton pass and moody things. Grass type gym with random auto-weather (sun/rain). Stall gym. Hazards gym featuring steel types. Poison gym with random layers of toxic spikes with Zangoose and Ursaring and Heracross and Breloom and stuff. Electric terrain gym?? Regular mono-type Dragon gym but make it the first gym in the game because they'll resist all of the starter STAB moves and spam Dragon Rage, mwahahaha >:] Gym leaders with Mega Pokemon, moar pivots, Rotation battle gym, moar doubles gyms, gravity gym, sandstorm gym, hail gym, (...) crazy normal type gyms with a lot of chople berries...

Or SUPER gimmicky gyms where the trainers are species themed! Crobat+Swoobat+Noivern! Audino and Blissey! Patrattata! Pseudo legends! Pokemon that are 4 times weak to stealth rock!! 6 Choice scarf impostor ditto team!!! Regigigas, Slaking and Archeops!! So many thingies!!!
