how do you guys say pokémon?
i say it "PO-keh-mon" because of the é and stuff
i also always found it stupid when people say it like the word "poke" with mon at the end it has the ´ for a reason aaaaah

so volcanion's ring/tail/ornament DOES split apart to do special attacks!

regarding the music, i felt the most common themes of this game [wild battle/trainer battle] were pretty boring. i do like most of the other themes though. the buildup in the legendary birds' theme is so cool, i stay to let it finish every time i run into it. anyone know if each gets their own instrumentation of it like the legendary beasts did in HG/SS?

I'm confused... Spark, the only difference there is in timing? Poke... Mon, or poke(h)...Mon. Regardless, there IS an e there, but I ignore the accent, so it's poke-eh, not poke-ay. Or poke-ee. É isn't pronounced ee as far as I know... Depends on the language I guess. I know in Spanish it isn't. And Irish too, like that matters.

The XYZ encounter music is definitely superior however

It's only retro sounding because it contains the old theme :/ and the old theme by itself was better anyway. The 'remix' isn't, it's just a whole lot of superfluous percussion and lame key shifts.

On the topic of good themes, Lugia also has a pretty good one once you get through the intro. And the Kami trio/Muskedeers. And the Regis. And Black/White Kyurem. And Dialga and Palkia. And those are just the legendaries. I could talk all day about awesome Pokémon music. Actually, I don't think a day is long enough.

I do wonder if the fact he's already talking about gen 7 might mean Gen 6 will be, in fact, really short, though? I mean... who knows.

Hopefully there will be a Z at least.
Or maybe Z IS the 7th Gen.
Maybe that's why they put the clues about the region in X&Y.

The fact that he talks about simplicity makes me worried.
