Oh. I kinda forgot that the "one megavolution per team per battle" only keeps you from actually megavolving more than one thing in a battle and that it's possible to have multiple megas if you only megavolve one per battle.

You can't smell the roses in this game, because when you try to they use Poison Sting on you. Roselia are very strict about inhabiting personal space.

Upon rechecking, I noticed that the Starly I got via wondertrade is a shiny. So much for not getting good stuff

Well, I'll almost definatly get AS, so depending on how long you'd be willing to wait, I could get you your weirdo djinn thingy. I mostly want him for the dex anyways. Speaking of dex, since I figured out how to move stuff from gen 3 to gen 4 and from gen 4 to gen 5 and since I'll probably get bank again when I get AS, I'm now starting to catch the mons I am missing in my X and Y dex. I'll still be missing some stuff but I think I might be able to get a pretty full dex, which I thik is neat.

Speaking of shiny things, I do have ADD, though it is obviously not nearly as silly as the internet makes it look. I mean, sheesh. Still, getting distracted and liking shiny things are both somewhat true for me, so I guess you can imagine me as a magpie if you want.

Anyway, thanks but no thanks OJ. I appreciate it but it's really too much of a burden for me to shove onto someone else - it's waaaay too much work for anyone else to SR for. We're talking a near-perfect Hidden Power Ice mon, here. There's an element of trust involved too, I guess - since if I messed up and regretted it later, I'd blame myself and that's fine, but if someone else were to settle on an iffy Thundurus and it bothered me later, I'd blame them, which isn't fair on anybody. 
My only issue with it at this point is a) I'm going to miss the alternate universe version of me that was always going to pick Ruby - it's like a DC fan liking Spiderman or a Man U supporter hating Alex Ferguson - and b) my best friend's team will end up using Thundurus and if he ever gets ORAS I've just shoehorned him into NOT getting it. I'll have to clone it for him if he ever buys a 3DS.

Yes, with two (I think) caveats.

One, you need to have internet access.

Two, the Pokemon you are moving can't be the Cosplay Pikachu, or have ORAS-specific moves.
(and they can't be eggs, much to my chagrin.)

What do you mean with ORAS specific moves? Just stuff like Kyogres new move or even stuff like those hydropump surskits?

No, I think that means "ORAS specific" as in moves that exist specifically in ORAS, like the new signature moves. The special dexnav moves are pretty much all egg moves as far as I know, so there's no problem there.

The only problems are the new Mega Stones and Hoenn's mascot trio (well, and Cosplay Pikachu, but I don't think it can be traded at all). Anything else should be fine.

Can I just say... For a long time, I've had a beef with the Pokemon games' music. Generally it was very well composed, but I typically cringe when I hear anyone say it's great music. It's not great music. It's NICE music, and it's often nostalgic. But those soundfonts... Since RSE, they've been fighting an uphill battle. Some tracks made it anyway! Ho-Oh's HGSS theme made the most out of the soundfonts and was brilliantly composed. But overall, the Pokemon games haven't been a series known for their musical excellence.

BUT.
ORAS.
My god. This is *genuinely good music*. They have not just done better music than usual, the music is genuinely fantastic, not just for a Pokemon game. IMO, anyway. But Groudon/Kyogre's theme, Mt.Pyre summit theme... jesus. I'm trying not to spoil ALL of the tracks for myself, but I'm only human :B

here lets do the "what pokemon i have in ruby" game some of them are ridiculously easy some of them are ridiculously hard thats the best part of any naming convention
