General chat: Who needs mspaf anyway
I opted not to play cookie clicker because I heard that it doesn't give you a whole lot of control over your industry, including budgeting income, allocating resources, delegating responsibilities to subsidiaries, and managing labor. I'd prefer a game with a bit more financial mobility.

To get all of the Cookies.
For now. There's actually a plan to add in a dungeon feature with rpg battles, so there might be some more depth???
And don't worry Kotakun, there's a reset button to do that for you.

Re: General chat: Who needs mspaf anyway
i keep hearing about this, so i finally tried it out.
...
it's times like this i'm glad to have more than one mouse button to use.
edit: i wasn't going to bother much with this at first since i didn't want to ruin my button, but it seems you don;t even need to click after a bit. it's cool i can just have it open in another tab and it'll do its thing.
in other news, Kingdom Hearts' final boss is obnoxious. [at least i think the second ansem fight is the final]
in other other news, Wild Arms has got to have the most massive inventory of any game i've played.

That is all.
- Spoiler:
- Is it wrong that the first actual achivement I unlocked was "Just wrong"?
And that I still can't stop laughing. Dark humour at its best.
Anyway, only 2 weeks left.

Re: General chat: Who needs mspaf anyway
how could that be the first acheivment you got theres one for having a grandmother and you have to buy one before you can sell it?
Re: General chat: Who needs mspaf anyway
He said the first actual achievement, meaning that while getting a Granma was no big thang, selling her off was more worthwhile.

Re: General chat: Who needs mspaf anyway
but how do you determine whether something is worth being an acheivement? it seems just as cheap acheivement wise to sell one as it is to buy one but buying say a condenser doesnt feel as cheap but the one for having one of every building does despite being harder
Re: General chat: Who needs mspaf anyway
man, screw you you guys. i have the worst craving for cookies now.
i'm just gonna leave it open to keep gathering cookies until i can get most of the achievements.

Re: General chat: Who needs mspaf anyway
ill sell you a cookie in real life for a billion billion cookies in the game
Re: General chat: Who needs mspaf anyway
what you do is
you export your save
figure out which number in the string is your cookie count
then add about 75 zeroes to the end of that number.
then you get to the end of cookie hero or whatever it's called.

spawning ridiculous amounts of cookies sounds like a better day than wasting hours watching numbers tick higher.

So to change the topic from cookies...
I'm in a communications class (General Education, I'm actually majoring in Engineering) and our second speech is a "Ceremonial Speech" which we do as a tribute to a person or thing. I'm highly considering doing this about Andrew Hussie.
good idea y/n

Re: General chat: Who needs mspaf anyway
Probably not. I know it sounds kooky and original but it might be better to do something a bit more mundane than the creator of this crazy webcomic that nowhere near as many people as you think know about it.

Re: General chat: Who needs mspaf anyway
Yeah, that was my thought as well. Personally I've only met like 5 people that have heard of Homestuck, and maybe 2 who've read it all the way.
Still, it would be very easy to prepare a speech like that, given all that I know about Hussie.

Do a tribute to an artichoke. I wish I was making this up but Pablo Neruda actually wrote a poem named "Ode to an Artichoke" (title translated for your convenience).

Re: General chat: Who needs mspaf anyway
how about a tribute to david bowie
you can include a bunch of cleverly-hidden song lyrics in your speech
Actually, this could work with any musician. Try the beatles instead, since this generation is full of uncultured garbage who don't know a good musician when they hear one, so they probably haven't heard david bowie's music. Detestable. But thankfully, the beatles have remained somewhat popular in today's pop culture.

Re: General chat: Who needs mspaf anyway
Or Meryl Streep! She's awesome and in the same vein you could work in movie titles. Or whatshername. Mary Poppins/sound of music etc.
