I'm planning on getting Y at this point, but I really do like Clauncher and Swirlix (just not quite as much as I like their alternatives), so I may get somebody to trade eggs of them to me. Maybe when I do my second playthrough of the game I'll use them as part of my team.

i always seem to get the version none of my other buddies want. yvetal is really awesome, but i think i slightly prefer those rave party antlers. i'll probably rent and do a weekend binge of the opposite game i buy for the other box legend.

It doesn't really matter which version I get

I have two brothers who will trade with me

As of now I think I'll get X, which is good because that'll balance us out more.

I'll be getting Y because of the dragon. I'm not even sure why it's such a big part of the decision, since I'll never use them. It'll look nicer on the box art, I guess. I reserve the right to change my mind nearer the time.

I'm all up for Y at this point since Xerneas looks a bit too frilly for me. Also, I will use Malamar and will go wherever it goes. It's not a version exclusive, is it...?

I hope not, but if it is, it's a deal-breaker/deal-maker for me too. At this point, we don't know one way or the other.

Hey, I've been doing decently with a monopsychic team on Showdown. Anyway, I was really happy about Reuniclus and now about Malamar being part psychic type.

Obviously Psychic is weaker than it was in Gen I, but it's still pretty strong. Only two types resist it, including itself, with one type being immune to it.
