So Pokémon Bank has been temporarily pulled from the Japanese eShop and postponed indefinitely everywhere else. The app itself is also temporarily offline. Looks like Nintendo wasn't as ready as they thought they were.

Bank has been taken off the eshop. Not only was it failing only under the load of Japanese players - but it had taken the international 3DS AND Wii U eshops down with it. Not at all surprising, most big name cloud things fail on launch and I never had too much faith in Pokemon to begin with. Hopefully they'll be able to afford larger services.

I know. I've got Pokémon that I want to bring up, the sooner the better. At least I got a Beldum off Wonder Trade the other day. But seriously, I want to be able to bring up my shiny Creation trio and that shiny Gible already, not to mention get my hands on all the starters (although that one could still happen, assuming I get lucky on Wonder Trade or the GTS).

HP, Pokémon Transfer only lets you migrate from Gen V to Gen VI. And I should actually sit down and get everything I want to transfer ready. In the meantime, I snagged a Snivy off Wonder Trade, so if anyone else wants one, hit me up. If nothing else, it should be good trade fodder for the other starters on the GTS.
