I'm busy being sick and was finishing a bunch of projects/cramming for school.

As for my artistic ability, what artistic ability?

on college things:
after 3 semesters of BS-ing around with general classes, i think i've decided on environmental science as a major.
on art:
in all honesty, character design is my dream job, but the likelihood i'm actually going to get to essentially draw monsters for a living is about nonexistant.

Man, is it just me or is it weird that both 14 year olds and 18 year olds are "Teenager"? I feel like they should be called different things...

18 is usually considered a young adult in the U.S, but i refer to myself as a teenager because the number is eighTEEN.

I am fairly sure that technically everything between thirTEEN and nineTEEN is a TEENager. And everything between TWENty and TWENtynine is a TWEN.

(Fake) EDIT: Huh, while googling it to make sure that I wrote Twen correctly I found out that the word is actually German, we just sort of made Twen up, following the pattern from Teenagers...

drega, if i may ask, what kind of stuff do you do in electrical engineering? it's something i've considered

For half a quarter I had no fucking clue.

I still sort of don't, since our program is that bad. Neither do any of my friends.

From what I've gathered it's basically analyzing circuits with a smattering of literally every other branch of engineering and a lot of science.

The main reason I'm still in this major is because if you apply with Electrical Engineering declared, in general, it's the hardest major to get into, but it's the easiest to transfer out of into another engineering. And the job pool is so diverse with EE that you can do whatever you want out of college.

speaking of teenagers, i've observed that college kids are basically bigger teenagers with slightly more serious proiblems. matter of fact, i didn't start acting at least a little bit mature until i was probably 22. i still feel like a kid almost all of the time. just a kid who's skeptical about EVERYTHING.

Well now I feel like I dropped the ball. I'm heading into my fourth semester of college in January and I still don't know what I want to major in. Thanks a lot, NN.

All I'm going to say is Thank God my uni time is over. For me personally all it was was a single semester of good times and then nothing but 3 years of being too poor to do anything fun and learning a bunch of business theory I already learnt in high school, which would be fine, except my course was meant to be a pure Database Design course, and I got screwed over by it merging with a Business in IT course.

Still, I got to learn a little bit about databases in my final year, and got to make a forum for my dissertation which was fun, although I taught myself how to do most of that. It wasn't all bad, but I came away with not a lot of good memories. A more practical subject like the electrical engineering probably would have been a lot more fun though, and probably would have learnt a lot more.

Today I learned that Nintenerd is 18. My mind was shattered.
Everyone but Spark and Misc and so much older than me it's practically a nursing home here!

I still remember the days when there were only 15 types. Not that I think we should go back to then. I'm just saying I remember it.

i remember that too but its much more funny to do seventeen because that was literally less than three months ago

Also Contrary to McGee's point, I feel like this place is like a nursery school, what with all the young'uns all.

EDIT: Just remembered you folk refer to nursery school as 'Kindergarten' in the americas and germany, so to clear that up, I feel like this place is a 'Kindergarten' with all the etc etc.

hey it isnt a pokemon game unless if you can get two gastlys without a damaging move on them and then have them face off in a never ending battle because they cant get hurt by struggle

Speaking of never-ending battles, any thoughts on "funbro"? One of my friends refuses to stop using it and it just looks painfully annoying.

That's because it's a German word OJ! Mind you I laughed at the whole Twen thing. Before the edit I thought you were being facetious and I quite enjoyed it.

A friend who uses Funbro more than once is not a friend. It's pure griefing. It's worse than moody/double team/ohko moves COMBINED. Should be banned for poor sportsmanship.

Right, kindergarten is German. I actually thought that but I failed to mention it for some reason. I'll add an edit addresing that right away!

And I liked twen too, easier than saying 'Twenty-somethings', if a bit confusing with 'Tween'.

Also I learnt today that Pineapple is called an 'Anana' in many countries, and felt ashamed of the english language for not having both Banana and Anana as fruits.

Funbro is the kind of thing I enjoyed seeing a .gif once but if I ever saw it in a random match up... well I couldn't do much, but I would just let all the timers count down without doing anything. They wanna troll I'll troll back, and I'm not gonna ragequit, that's nooby.
