It's this one Slowbro set that can stall your opponent for a couple thousand turns. I don't know exactly how it works.

It's Slowbro @ Leppa Berry with
- Block (to prevent a switch)
- Slack Off
- Recycle (for infinite PP when combined with Leppa Berry)
- Heal Pulse (to prevent opponents from dying)

and it's possibly the worst thing that could ever happen in Pokemon.

Griefing! In Pokemon! Only true example of it! It should not be encouraged!!

(Also, Oblivious to prevent taunt)

Now I'm wondering what would happen when two people tried to use Funbro against each other at the same time (in terms of the players' reactions; the results of the match would be a given).

Griefing is... pretty much what the name implies. It's trolling with the intent of forcing the other player/friend/whatever to ragequit. Quite honestly, it is the basest example of human interaction, as are those who relish in it.

Dunno bout sapping.

griefing is doing stuff to other people for the intent purpose of causing grief
for instance dragging people into a battle that cannot possibly finish

griefing sounds like empty fulfillment of savage desires

sounds like it would be fun the first time you do it to somebody, but then it would get old real fast so you decide to just read a book instead of spending your time playing games

I had 80s movie night at my Dad's because I haven't seen the classics. We watched Ferris Beuller's Day Off and Breakfast Club. Breakfast club made me cry, not to mention I look a lot like Allison from it.

So what are you, a brain, an athlete, a basket case, a princess, or a criminal?

Also I learnt today that Pineapple is called an 'Anana' in many countries, and felt ashamed of the english language for not having both Banana and Anana as fruits.

I hadn't heard of Tween before to be honest. I admit, that explains the confusion I have heard about Twen...

And Pineapples are called Ananas in German (but Bananas are "Bananen"/Banana "Banane")

I have to admit, I can see how this could be annoying if it catches you on the wrong foot but on the other hand, it definitely won't stop a good attacker, will it? I mean, Slack Off heals half your HP per round if you use it each round, and for this too work you'll have to start with Block and Recycle every once in a while, right? It shouldn't be THAT hard to hit it for more then half its HP each round, right?

That's the point though. It has to use block on a pokemon it can handle - which to be fair is a lot of Pokemon, slowbro is very bulky. So you have to switch immediately, if you don't then you've effectively lost the game, which is hardly fair. The real clincher is the fact that Slowbro is actually viable. Switching in something that makes Funbro useless could damage your chances in a proper game, and vice versa. Also, don't forget the Funbro user will be careful who they switch in against. It's advantage > funbro.

You haven't necessarily lost. It just becomes a test of patience instead of battling skill. mspa

It is a pretty dick tactic though. Then again, I'm not sure it's even necessary; if it's ragequits you're after you can get plenty of those with a legitimate stall team.

I think the real problem is that Funbro's win condition is a ragequit. You're not playing to win, you're playing to infuriate the opponent into forfeiting. That strategy isn't competitive and should be banned.

Oh yeah, I'm alive too! It's just that I keep forgetting about this website since I can't use my usual browser for it anymore. I'll probably won't be around much for the next couple days too, tho--
