Actually, OJ, we know quite a bit about it. It gets boosted Attack and the new Ability Tough Claws, which buffs attacks that make contact (i.e. most Physical attacks).

Say hello to Delphox, the final evolution of the Fennekin line. Fire/Psychic. I know who I'm picking.

This is Grenninja, the finak evolution of the Froakie line. Water/Dark.

This would be Carbink, a brand new Rock/Fairy. Kind of weird.

Fletchinder, the middle stage between Fletchling and Talonflame. Fire/Flying.

Diggersby, evolution of Bunnelby, presumably Normal/Ground. This is the stupidest thing I've ever seen.

This is Hawlucha, a Fighting/Flying guy. He was actually leaked earlier today but I forgot to post about him.

Hot damn, I love the starters this gen. His name is Chesnaught and he's a Grass/Fighting-type. There was a Pokedex image that confirmed the name and typing but it was super blurry and shaky.

Heliolisk, evolution of Helioptile. Man I like this one! Electric/Normal again. Looks like a middle stage to me, but it evolves into this by Sun Stone. I dunno...

Ironically, Bunnelby's evolution comes just as I start to accept and maybe even like the thing, and then throws all that progress down the drain. Not sure why we're getting a luchador in Poké-France, but whatever. At least we're one step closer to having every possible type combination with Flying (and there's a good chance we're getting a Fairy/Flying Pokémon, which would be the only remaining one). I see what you mean about Heliolisk, although it's a bit ironic that it evolves via Sun Stone since it has Dry Skin as Helioptile...

Now... I noticed something at those screenshots. Apparently... They might actually have each a signature move! Greninja gets "Water Shuriken" (Pretty cool sounding), Delphox, Mystical Fire (Makes sense), and Chesnaught "Spiky Shield" (hedgehog powers GOOO). And I like that! Now I only hope Chesnaught has a not-that-bad attack stat, so it's actually usable.

and i don't really like it much from the above image. i mean...
where the heck did all that white come from?? does it represent the inside of the nut? that, and the lack of anything on the top of its head REALLY keep me from liking it. the loose shell thing is a really cool idea, but the rest of the 'mon seems pretty...unfitting.

yeah, not really a fan. it's basically a generic witch except it has a fox head and tail.

fighterbird: oh god that looks so ridiculous but the idea is nonetheless awesome.

i like megacharixard quite a bit more than megacharyzard not entirely thrilled with it, but i like it enough that i'll probably use it.

i don't see how you could be disappointed in the evolution of a thing that is literally a wad of cotton candy with a ":b" face

i...don't think i dislike spritzee's evolution? it'sss....okaaaaay, i just wish i knew what the heck it's supposed to be.

helioptile2- oooh, not bad! i'm willing to bet this is only a middle evo. a little underwhelming if it is indeed the final form, but it's an early-game 'mon so i guess i can't expect too much. it's decent enough.

Attack is in fact its second-highest stat. Nothing too surprising there, I figured it'd be like this. Keep in mind the Naive nature-- it's probably got Speed as its lowest stat naturally.
This also shows what Spiky Shield does-- it looks to be Protect + Iron Barbs. Interesting.

Whereas this one's basically Sceptile. Ehh, makes sense I guess.

Oh god that luchador 'mon...

Kinda like the trash bag, it's silly but I love it.

Also, if Chesnaught is canon... hmm. It kind of reminds me of Daike- um... um... Samurott (haha, it literally took me three seconds to think of that name), but I like it.

Now I don't even know which starter to pick! Before there was always at least one I took one look at and said "hell no" or one I took one look at and said "hell yes", but I like all of them this time. Even that weird tongue scarf. It's amazing.
