1) Yep, I'm a girl.
2) Octi was actually a nickname one of my friends gave me because she didn't want to type out ilikeoctopus online, my best guess is either that she missed the "o" or that she just liked the sound of it? Actually I've never asked and just got used to it; sorry, no Powerpuff Girl references here :/

And is this sdr2 thing something I should be looking at

also when i say tears im not kidding.
the last chapter of sdr2 legitimately made me cry
i don't often cry in stuff like this for reference
vry good games, both of them, tho
lotsa plot twists and very entertaining
even if fUCKING PAINFUL
(also sdr2 is definitely an improved sequel. i like it more, even if i still have a soft spot for... certain dr1 characters. more specifically THOSE two. the noodle cups 80)

So many different threads in this thread. So what I'm gathering is a faux-red headed commander has nail polish but doesn't watch powerpuff girls and cries and cries while blowing up the dead spoilered characters is farming stones, chaotically. Yes that is indeed the best and most accurate summary I could possibly give ever. Anyway turns out I can't use my phone as a hotspot because I don't have a mobile internet plan, and Connectify won't work because it adds "connectify" to the router name, so until I meet someone who has a phone internet plan (presumably this weekend) I'm outta luck.

In other news; Malaysian Airlines 2 Electric Boogaloo was not well received by critics or, in fact, anyone ;_; it's so terrible.
On the other hand it's the anniversary of Nelson Mandela's birthday, that's kinda cool?

one of my friends used to type similarly to that! She eased off I'm recent years but having had both of us read Homestuck I didn't mind. In fact it was a lot like how Vriska us8s m8re 8ights wh8n she's ups8t because my friend would talk regularly when she was severely stressed.

It was a great laugh!

Edit: I knew I had it here somewhere. Gee I wonder which of my friends uses textspeak so liberally :0 dammit I couldn't copy colours from the post and it's locked for editing now...

The pokewalker is great, except for it's ability to get lost easy it was really fun back when HG was my main poke game. I should do a pokewalker nuzlocke one of these days, that sounds like a fun idea and a way to make it relevent again.

Incidentally i was at a town with a game shop for the first time in ages yesterday and had no idea how to get the charizard, tried connecting to local wireless and the internet and neither worked, so eh. I prefer the Y version anyways, just wanted it for completions sake.

In game I've decided to replace my electric mon so I just bred a 5 IV modest ampharos with ev's in sp.atk, HP and a little bit of speed just in case it gives me an edge when i need it. Was thinking about making it part of a trick room set, but changing more of my team is a bit too much of a commitment considering i'm still learning the meta game.

Eh. I didn't like the Green Stars quest; they seemed kinda cheap - you know, "Super Mario Galaxy 2: Collect 240 stars!!!!" but half of them are just floating in space somewhere? It's like a side quest really. I'd sooner have them be silver stars and getting all of them in a level gets you one star. The bit where you have to jump into empty abysses and hope you hit a star on your way down was always "fun" though; especially the one at the end of that slide-y blocks level near the end of the game.

GOT CHARIZARD and so did a whole bunch of people at the con. We decided to give my friend with the internet access a suitable con nickname for her effort and settled for Daenerys (but actually Michaela) Mother of Charizards. OH and it was the weirdest thing! When I was busy pimping out the 'zards to everyone within a 10 meter radius, there were these two kids, maybe 10 years old, both playing Pokemon on their 3DSs! So I calmly asked them if they'd like free Charizards.

Do you know what they said?

They said "we already have one".

I told them it was the one they didn't have and they shrugged and went back to playing. It was really really weird. I mean, I'd be the first person to lynch a Charizard; Venusaur all the way, Blastoise as a respectable second choice, but... it was just SO UNSETTLING seeing kids that DON'T actually care even a little bit about Charizard. It was like finding a toddler that doesn't like candy. Bizarre.
