Consider all of the abilities in the main series games. Which ones, for whatever (possibly inexplicable) reasons, are your favourites? If you were a Pokemon, would you have that ability?

(Mine is Mold Breaker for now. It's just such a great asset; Earthquake spam through levitators, cuts through Flash Fire and the rest, ignores multiscale and sturdy... it's pretty cool. Magic Guard and Regenerator are insane also though.)
(Least favourite... Poison Touch? Magician? Cute Charm? Moody? I dunno.)

Competitive favorites are any really mindgames-style gimmicky abilities (but useful, not like color change or forecast), so stuff like Protean, or Stance Change, or Illusion. All of which I use on at least one of my teams. Beyond those I love love LOVE Download. Fun as hell.
Straight favorite is Inner Focus, because I love the mental image os a Hariyama or something slapping an alakazam across the face and it not even reacting.


But uh, what sort of worst are we talking here? Like, competitively worst? Because that would be either Slow Start or Defeatist. Because really how about no.
But if we're talking just which ability do we not like? I don't like Imposter. I have this weird phobia about fucking with matter, and that includes stuff like creation, regeneration, and yes, transformation. Now, I've gotten used to it on Ditto because that's sort of what Ditto does, but imagine it on anything else. Like, uh, Blissey, because there's tons of Imposter Blisseys in hackmons. Imagine a Blissey morphing into a Salamece. Or a Toxicroak. Detailedly. I just.... ew fuck no no ew fuck ew no fuck

Those are some excellent Drifblim strats, D_W! I especially like the former, and plan to adapt my Showdown Drifblim at least if I'm too lazy to make a real one.

I won another Master Ball last night With only 13 minutes until midnight, too! Phew! So now I have 3. Cool beans indeed. And the nice thing is, I can do this indefinitely. I still have a >70% chance to get another one within the next year.

I hope there's a fair number of older legends in the next game; they kinda detract from the story when they're just pointlessly there, but legends with sixth gen IVs are too cool to pass up on! I don't know is the fact that I'm in a CS course, or the fact that it's filled with >30 year-olds, but for whatever reason my course has an oddly high number of people who inhale smoke from "various herbs". Makes me kinda apathetic about the whole thing.

Haven't seen Hytheter since the time before I last posted "hey I haven't seen Hytheter and Variegated Dreamraptor around for a bit". Or other people I miss (insert random forum user) WillPowered! ;_;

I think my best Pokemoment was... actually I have a few. For one of my dA friend's first birthday I set up an AIM account and chatted to him for the whole night, and then moved briefly to shoddybattle and had our first competitive battle together. It was pretty cool. Or when I won the VGC tournament at my first con with my Sun team, that was cool, but probably not as fun as the next time I won because I got to battle better people that time. We made Encore jokes :O But that's not my favourite time because after I went all gracious-winner on someone she went to shake my hand, and as she took hold she dug her nails into my palm and drew blood intentionally, stung for days >:[ Crazy b*tch gives a bad name to... everyone that overlaps with her assorted circles. So, no. Scoring a golden Zekrom card was cool too, or when I got my first and only official league badge. That was neat. And that battle video I posted last week was definitely one of the more memorable battles I've had. But I think I'll hand over my proudest moment to when I convinced one of my friends to have a competitive battle with me post-con 'cause she didn't feel able for the tournament - she used my sun team from the previous year and she *very nearly* won! She said afterwards that having played with my sun team, she regretted not playing because it was a lot of fun, which made me pretty happy. So I think I'll go with that!

But sweeping teams with weird Pokemon is also always a laugh. Especially when the opponent has packed a cookie-cutter team or a whole load of Legendaries.

yes but only using highly flammable and combustible materials. you don't want them to suffer TOO much. No slow burning.
