what with all the (real life, which is... unusual) pictures of the world as it created another god of time/space/antimatter and all that

i found this extremely unreliable albeit quite believable tidbit regarding their locations:

That'd be part of an event, I assume.

Also. Called 1-and-a-half/3 of those things.

Does this mean Heatran isn't in Jaune plaza Sad can't say it'd never occurred to me, but... lava dome. C'mon.

I feel like those rumors are probably fake, since Gen V chose to distribute all its event Pokémon directly, rather than distribute items that would activate relevant event flags. It's still possible, but I think Game Freak's moving away from that style of event.

i think the rumors could be credible. what with all the renewed emphasis on wi-fi features and the unfortunate lack of post-game stuff to do, events that include more features in the game make a lot of sense

As much as I wouldn't want to put faith in the anime and by extentions the movies, they did make Giratina a more neutrel pokémon in his movie iirc, and he looks evil as all hell, so it's possible they'll give Yveltal the same decent treatment.

Although 'God of the antimatter' and 'Being of destruction' may lend themselves to somewhat different sidings. I still think Humans will be the major antagonists, though. They usually are.

The fact that some NPC's will make stuff happen if you show them Kyurem and Genesect shouldn't be surprising. They even outright tell you to bring the respective legendary to them. I'm pretty sure I remember an NPC talking about the Reveal Glass, and there was someone else who referenced the Gracidea Flower. Basically, since we can't send up items (and since some of those are key items) they have to give us a way to get them within XY itself.

So normally I'm not a fan of double-posting, but it's been a day since my last post and we've got some news. The Pokémon Bank official site is up with a fair amount of information. There were two major things that I think people will want to know about. First, if the free trial ends or you forget to renew your subscription, you have a limited amount of time to withdraw your Pokémon before they are permanently deleted (or you could renew your subscription); the exact window you have is still unknown, but it doesn't sound like it will be terribly long. Second, Pokémon Bank is apparently not region-locked, so you can use it with any game card on any system.
In non-Pokémon Bank news, apparently the version 1.2 patch kills Instacheck and its derivative program that let people see what attack you'd choose in online battles. It's good that the second one is dead, but it's a bit sad that Instacheck had to go down with it. Guess we're going to have to resort to the Masuda method for hatching shinies again.

D:eleted? Woah shit that's scary. What if I get knocked down by a bus come subscription time? Shiiiit. I figured they'd leave them alone for a year or something.

That's all I have to say at the moment.

It might be for a year. They haven't said how much time you have exactly yet, after all, and it just HAS to be at least one month.

btw another cool thing about the bank, when you deposit pokémon you can choose between getting either pokémiles or battle points for it
i think its pretty obvious what people are gonna choose

OKAY WOW my computer finally allowed me to open a topic!
Sorry to disappear on you guys so suddenly, but my not-that-old-yet-ridiculously-glitchy computer's internet browser would freeze up completely and force me to close it with the task manager if I opened any threads on this forum. Oh, every other website was fine, and I could look at the main page and forum sections of the pokèquarantine just fine, but as soon as I clicked on a thread, any thread, it'd load the thread but then about one second later it'd lock up and become unresponsive. So yeah, I basically could not even read, let alone post in, any of these threads. (Restarting my computer didn't do anything, by the way.)
But then I clicked on this thread and it didn't do it for some reason! I could read it just fine! Hopefully the problem is actually gone now instead of just temporarily-not-happening... This post will likely go through either way, but I don't know what will happen after that.

(please excuse my terrible writing, i'm sorta tired right now and I kinda rushed to finish this post quickly)

Wassat? Someone using IE? Not on my forums.

By which I mean Gelatino. I'm sure he'd agree.

Or you could use Chrome as your backup instead so you never have to use IE at all. You could also try Chrome as your main browser to see if it works any better: I used Firefox for a while, but it was prone to freezing up fairly often; I've almost never had that problem with Chrome.

Some people say the same thing about chrome and use Firefox.

Moral of the story: no matter what your situation, you still have no reason to use IE.

I knew people from my Uni who use IE and say Firefox is worse. Noobs. I also know other people who say the same thing about firefox but use chrome, which is more understandable (sacrificing Firefox for chrome's stability and speed).

Although why anyone would use Chrome when google have outright stated that they don't care about privacy is beyond me.

No support for Safari, I see.

I personally use Chrome, since five years ago or so I had a laptop that froze every other hour and Chrome had that nice thing where only one tab froze instead of the whole window. I like the look of it and so I never switched browsers.

I used Chrome as well for a while on my slower windows laptop. It was alright, but being Google and all I hesitated to use any websites that required sensitive information, like my emails. Eventually I just drifted back to Firefox.

I like Safari, but I only ever use it on my iPod and my very outdated mac laptop. And once I found an old mac version of firefox, I only ever really used Safari when I wanted to access those old bookmarks I hadn't bothered to move over. Nothing against Safari though, it did its job well, and it was only an outdated version.
