Also, I've just noticed that if you were to put a mirror on R14 the two sides of Kalos would mirror each other pretty well. even some of the gym lines up. And mirrors are connected to beauty.

It's the friend safari. Post game thing where it assigns everyone in your friends list a type and builds a safari zone around it for all of them.

Your starter probably has a lot of EVs now anyway, and then with those you can do the higher cups which are more fun and challenging and give more EVs.
And anyway you have to do the Charizard, Blastoise, Venusaur and Stunfisk cups before you can do the one that gives you the dusk stone. Took me about 6 minutes.

So has anyone else seen a type matchup not work right? For example, I was just fighting a Pancham and I used Psywave against it, but it did neutral damage, not super-effective.

Indeed, psywave is a random amouth of damage equal to at least half your level and at most 1.5 times your level.

EDIT: And in case it wasn't clear, yes, it deals typeless damage.

So you won't hit supereffectivly but on the other hand you are also able to hit dark types.

Roxy needs a new Psychic move ASAP, then.

What pokemon is Roxy? One of those cats or a squid thingy?

She's an Inkay.

Is Inkay a physical attacker, like Malamar?

Assuming it is, I think Zen-Headbut would be the best you can do.

Though I don't know if it can learn that.

I doubt she'll be able to learn Zen Headbutt at this point. Later on, I suppose it's possible, but probably only once she's evolved into a Malamar.

Well, there are only three physical Psychic moves, unless they added another one this gen.

And since I doubt Inkay will learn Heart Stamp, Zen Headbutt or Psycho Cut are your only options I think.

Is it just me or have they upped the critical capture rate? I've only just beaten the second gym and have had 4 so far...
