Re: General chat: Who needs mspaf anyway
Yeah, my dorm's not nearly big enough and my parents would not be happy with a bunch of random (to them) people showing up at our house (not to mention we're technically still in a tiny-ass apartment for a few days). And obviously Gelatino meant that he'd be nice and press our clothes for us.

Re: General chat: Who needs mspaf anyway
Haha miny Sharpedo torpedoes anatomy needs work though, that star is hella crooked.
(Story of the day: Random passerby battle with Japanese competitive player. 3v3. I was narrowly in the lead, by which I mean I had all my Pokemon remaining and she/he had a Chansey.
Minimize.
Goddamn.
The only thing that could actually whittle it down was my Leech Seed + Will-O-Wisp + Pain Split Goirgeist, which would have worked, only...
Substitute.
Goddamn.
And my only move was Shadow Sneak. Hers was Seismic toss. Neither of us could do anything so I 'ran away.' Hate doing that, because it counts as a loss where it should have been a draw, advantage Moi. Also, Minimize! Cheap shot. At least they didn't DC though. Plus we traded afterwards and I got a Chansey out of it. Not a particularly good one though.)

Re: General chat: Who needs mspaf anyway
I finally got my first registered win today, wasn't too optimistic when they brought out an Aegislash, but I've fought with a friend who has one often enough that I managed to easily predict when they'd try guarding, so I could boost stats on that turn. I'm starting to learn actual strategy now, which is nice. It's a whole different game when you don't have free chances to switch pokemon up, especially when entry hazards are up. Have to decide if the damage on switch in is worth it, or if losing your current mon is an acceptable sacrifice.

Simplify please. There's no call for complex maths except where i is concerned.
And i is only vaguely interested, i wouldn't got so far as to say i was actually concerned as such.

Don't be silly, pD's expression wasn't complex, just complicated. Actually, now I'm wondering how integrals would work with imaginary and complex numbers.

You missed an opportunity to start a chain of maths puns probably even an entire series of them.
HEY here's a joke.
I always sign my numbers in base 10. No exceptions.
Well, I thought it was funny.

Uhhh... 200%? PD, you should have left out the 2 in front of the x^5, so that I would have to be secretly mad at you for talking about more than 100%.

Re: General chat: Who needs mspaf anyway
That's right, even if only 2 people aren't up for it, that's still two many and the whole thing should just be postponed until a later date, or at least downgraded to a makeout session.

Re: General chat: Who needs mspaf anyway
Makeout session? That's a bit premature, surely they should just sit on a couch together in a students union somewhere with a small cushion between them, making occasional hesitant eye contact? This seems like the sanest plan of action.

Re: General chat: Who needs mspaf anyway
Whoa there. Let's save the small cushions for the fiftieth date. Ideally you'll want a sheet of plexiglass in between them.

We're making fun of the super-uptight Christian "fundamentalists" and moral guardians in general. Or at least I am. Can't speak for anyone else.
