Don't go getting yourselves banned from the mspaf. And don't go starting animosity and trolling either. That wouldn't be a good reflection on us here. Personally, I think it's fine if you want to post both here and there, or just here, or just there. I'm not terribly concerned.

I'm probably not going to post much in the thread on mspaf myself, though.

it's advice against making a fool of yourself and subsequently creating bad blood between quarantine and mspaf. Because that would be a bad thing.

Yeah can I just remind everyone that as sucky as it was to get our chat banned with no warning, we were posting up to 10 pages a day at least, with next to no constant pokemon news and getting off topic now and again, and the mods were expected to go through everything to make sure we were following rules. Looking at priorities I don't blame mods for stopping our shenanigans, and hey, we got the Quarantine outta it, it's all good.

I just had the most shocking realisation befitting that of one who relates to a slowpoke.

I can sell various things that I own and never use in exchange for cash monies, and exchange that for other things, i.e Pokémon Y.

Or possibly trade in games you no longer play. This method might be faster but ultimately provide you with less money than just selling things.

i stopped trading/selling games, because
A. gamestop gives you the worst prices and there aren't any decent home-owned game stores around here, and
B. there's always that ONE time i'm suddenly stricken with an urge to play an old game. and of course it was often the ones i had gotten rid of.
i still have barbie and dora the explorer for gba. :/\

I'm actually selling a Pokémon Black themed DSi. I really like it and I'd keep it forever if it wasn't for the fact that it's kind of redundant- The 3DS is unfortunatly more relevant and has most if not all of the functionality of a DSi except for maybe showing random photos ont he top screen, which I miss on the 3DS, and the DS lite I also have can play GBA games. So I can't think of any reasons for using it over one of those 2. So yeah, hopefully I can get at least £30 for it, hoping for £50.

@Nintenerd yeah I've had those urges. I probably won't trade anything else in unless I need a game, or maybe food money if it gets that bad, and even then it'll only be the junk I have first. For example, I can't see any reason I would ever sell Heart Gold when I have pokemon white/ black I could sell, and probably will do when transferring over is accomplished.

I need to watch that movie again, mostly because the only copy I ever saw was a copy I used my VCR to record, but it didn't work right and the beginning was missing, but also because it's just been a while (as proven by the VCR). Sadly, I don't have Netflix.

I remember watching the TV series, and since it was more recent than the movie, I actually remember most of it. It was pretty good, if you can get past the fact it mostly sticks to a formula. They were very aware of the formula, too.

That's funny, a couple weeks ago my college band had a movie night and we watched that at 10 pm. It was waaaaay better than I remembered. Looking back, I'm not even sure I saw it as a kid. Now I can see why everyone is crazy over it.

And yeah, Disney seems to be into the whole "give a show a formula but then abuse the formula comically" thing. Like Phineas & Ferb, especially.

Phineas and Ferb was a great example of why Disney should have stuck with Cartoons exclusively, as it was 100x better than any of the live action things they tried.

And on post 666, too! Basically, The Emperor's New Groove is a very silly and self-aware animated Disney movie from years and years ago that we're all experiencing nostalgia for. And the MSPAF thread isn't that hard to find. Just go to the Games Subforum and it should still be on the first page, or, if you're feeling really lazy, follow this link. I'm going to hope my copy of Y comes tomorrow, since I know it ain't happening on a Sunday.
