Re: Pokemon general chat: Pokemon for breakfast?
I watch the superbowl and maybe a game from the playoffs that the ravens are playing in (they're my home team). There's no way I can stay on a schedule of watching stuff when it comes on tv; i'm the same way with tv shows. Have to watch them on netflix.
Re: Pokemon general chat: Pokemon for breakfast?
I am definitely not a sports fan, but I'm kind of the same way about TV as Gelatino. Although I usually end up watching shows that have been over for years, rather than current shows.

Sports?
I like the UNC Tarheels (all NCAA sports), the Boston Red Sox(MLB), and the Steelers(NFL).
Not an NBA or pro-soccer fan.

Shiny Palkia get! And not a moment too soon, since Giratina starts next week.

Giratina's still the best shiny of the bunch. It's the one I wanted the most, anyway.

Re: Pokemon general chat: Pokemon for breakfast?
So guys, remember this as 5th gen as we knew it best:
http://www.smogon.com/forums/threads/the-ou-viability-ranking-thread.3473637/
Thoughts? Gotta say, it's pretty sobering. I've finally realised why I don't play OU actively - all those A+ and above 'mons bother me and I wish they were gone. Well. Okay, I LIKE Starmie and as much as Ferrothorn's stats bother me it's fun to play against and I wouldn't get rid of the weather setters since they're what make OU OU, but besides the weather guys if I was to play in a tier where only As and below existed, I'd feel it'd be more not so msssively overpowered and inclusive (I.e a larger selection of weaker Pokémon would be feasible. Also it's comfortably similar to 4th gen OU except with weather) and I would definitely trade scizor and starmie and celebi and jirachi for that. LE SIGH :/
...well actually Celebi is often in support, so maybe it can stay. THATS IT THOUGH. Ummm I want to make it clear I'm not in favour of a new banlist. I just feel because of the differences in strengths this gen what with new legends and power creep, it's a more closed off meta. That's why I like weather, it allows more Pokemon to excel.

Dialga, not Palkia. The Dialga event has been over for several weeks.

Re: Pokemon general chat: Pokemon for breakfast?
I can only reach the participating shops by train now, and since I don't have enough extra living money to waste going to a shop for a pokemon I'd onyl have sitting looking pretty in my box, I'm not getting any of the shinies. Blegh. Oh well.
In other news, is anyone playing Cookie Clicker? It's a huge stupid, pointless waste of time that I can't stop playing.

- Pro tip::
- Actually clicking the cookie stops being overly productive maybe 10-20 minutes in, if that. It's mostly "Cookie Waiter".
