Sadistic Hypnotist tends to piss off a lot of people. I would swap dark hatchling with shriekmaw.

maybe look at a nighthowler. and possibly a Pharika's Mender. whip of erebos is a good idea. possible suggestions:

for ramp, i suggest creature-based ramp. look at diligent farmhand and krosan wayfarer. wood elves, quirion trailblazer, SOLEMN SIMULACRUM
if you can recur simulacrum. jeez. so much value.
primal growth fits the golgari theme, since the kicker lets you net two basics for 3 mana and sacking a creature. so good. i put it in almost every one of my edh decks that have cheap ETB triggers on little creatures that mean nothing.

that about does it for card draw and ramp suggestions. your fatties look okay, your kill spells look fine. make sure you get one of them maelstrom pulses to piss everyone off when you hit 4 sol rings at once. and a couple other green disenchants.

Heads up for anyone on here who plays Warframe (so possibly just HP and myself): check this out. Tl;dr: every day this week, there'll be 24-hour alerts for three rare items. Today's Kubrow stuff, tomorrow will be Vauban parts, Wednesday through Friday will be rare mods, Saturday will be rare resources, and Sunday will be 1 Forma, 1 Forma Blueprint, and 1 Orokin Catalyst. For those of you who don't play, the game's F2P and on Steam, and these alerts make this a really good time to start.

Coro Coro leaks; 3 new megas. They're exactly as expected. mega Gallade does not look all that interesting, but maybe his in-game model is cool. Wally is back, and our lord and savior looks... kinda... lumpy, sort of robotic?? eh. Camerupt looks so much like Slugma it's not even funny.

Well, they could have been worse, and they're definitely Megas people were anticipating (cough cough Audino). It looks like my theory about Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre's Abilities was right, and Sea of Beginnings and Land of Endings are what Drizzle and Drought used to be, although obviously we don't have 100% confirmation yet. Wally's new design is okay, and it doesn't feel like too big a departure from his old design like with some of the characters we've already seen.

There was basically no way Gallade wasn't happening, but cool nonetheless. Nice cape, but I can't help but feel that it looks... naked. Camerupt is great, I love it. I've always liked its type combo, moveset, and general design concept, but its actual design and its base stats have always been "ehhh" to me, so getting a mega that improves all of that is wonderful. Sharpedo... That's a mega Sharpedo, yeah. It... certainly is one of those.

on other smashing news
not only did japanese peeps get an amaaaaazing smash bros 3ds demo today but
we also got this.
yeah look its. all of the colors for every smash character so far
notably, no shadow or protoman costumes, alph is an alt for olimar, fire rosalina and fire peach, skyward sword zelda's pallete, naked meta knight for kirby (still the best), wolf-ish looking one for fox, gold's hat and calem's hat for pikachu, bluuuue. bowser. and also pink-haired. pink donkey kong, dixie pallette for diddy, impa palette for sheik, viridi and medusa ones for palutena, ones inspired in various fire emblem girls for lucina (off the top of my head i can name tiki and tharja), and disco gloves pacman.

It's 100% confirmed at this point.

i think the best thing from the colors for ssb is that mario has an outfit that looks like luigi but luigi doesnt have one that looks like mario

Heh, fair enough. I guess the design isn't so bad, it just doesn't fit the mental image I had of Camerupt

Like, Gengar seems cheeky to me, so the grin fits perfectly, but Camerupt looks a bit, uh, lethargic to me, unless you anger it. I suppose my mental image of Camerupt is someone calm and slow unless you piss them off, which is when they release the fires of hell upon you. MegaCamerupts face just looks like "Hehehe, I'm sneaky, clever, evil, magnificent bastard" but the body still looks fitting for regular Camerupt. I would have preferred a stern look or something like that. Also, I feel like they gave it that grin just because they want to make it look more evil, since one of the evil team bosses will (most likely) use it.

P.S.: I don't use Gengar that often actually. I really like it, don't get me wrong but I think I use Alakazam way more often then Gengar. Speaking of Alakazam, I have internet on my DS for a bit, would anyone help me evolve a Kadabra?

Super Luck would've been great for Gallade. You could've still used the best Gallade set, crit abuse. But alas, no, it wasn't to be.

This is today's most interesting thing though:

"It also states clarifications about the demo version of the game. You will see a Mega Evolution for the first time in this demo, and you can then transfer it, as well as items you collect, over to the main games when they are released. It is also hinted that, if you play the demo every day, something special will happen"

I am now really, really hoping we get this demo.

Btw Spark I spotted an Anna alt for Lucina.

EDIT: Speaking about Camerupt and being evil, I don't suppose anyone else found the Team Magma M in black on his forehead? Because I sure did. I think Sharpedo has an A in white at the base of his fins too, but I can't tell for sure.

Camerupt's always had the M-shaped fringe of hair, but it was just a lot more subtle before since it was only defined by the boundary between its bangs and its forehead.

the target noncreature permanent is more versatile than a standard disenchant, though it usually has the cost of being sorcery speed and 4-5 mana. plus, "noncreature permanent" hits planeswalkers. like karn.
