If we're only talking about people who actually post, it was probably me or Sharpedo, whoever he is.

I just glanced over the member list, and Air12473 is the most recent person to join who's actually made more than one post (other than Crobat, who we're not counting). We've also got a fair number of people who've joined but never posted.

seriosuly noone new since febuary noone who has posted since october and noone who has been active since august we need to step it up and do something thatll make everyone in the other thread come here
i suggest some sort of event with pokemon that can only be done here like join the forums win a great pokemon prize like your favorite song redone in the rse soundfont that might draw in some interest to get more people coming over here
or we could kidnap a mod though that might be worse for us it would be more noteworthy

How about we save the whole "kidnapping a mod" thing for April Fools Day? That way we have plausible deniability should things go horribly wrong.

You cannot retrieve SHARPEDOOOS as you do not have a name yet! Before anything else you must name this SHARPEDO.
- Spoiler:
- As far as this website is concerned I'm fine with its current level of things-happening-ness, seeing as there hasn't been anything Pokemon-related to do for a while. Just keep this site in mind when news does happen, that's all.
And for MSPAF it really is dying, which is sad to see since I still have a special place in my heart for the forumventure media but from what I've seen I don't think Paradox Space is quite the extension on Homestuck's warranty that Hussie thinks it is. So far PS hasn't met its full potential by a long shot, as far as I'm concerned.
Edit: Kotakun, I'm putting you in charge of the planning committee. You've got ideas, kid, and I think you're gonna go far.

That sounds stupid. You'll keep the name SHARPEDO.
Your name is SHARPEDO. As was previously mentioned it is your SHARPEDO. A number of SHARPEDOs are scattered about your SHARPEDO. You have a variety of SHARPEDOs . You have a passion for SHARPEDO. You like to program SHARPEDOs but you are NOT VERY GOOD AT IT. You have a fondness for SHARPEDO, and are an aspiring AMATEUR SHARPEDO. You also like to play SHARPEDO sometimes.
What will you do?

I'd have bought it 5, maybe 6 years ago. Not now, though. Wouldn't be much point. I already have Colors!3D and I don't use it TOO much, but can still draw Pokemon on it if I want.
But I'd recommend it for those tutorials if any of you guys want to learn to draw. Nobody's really born an artist, everyone can do it if they try to learn properly.
Or buy a book.

Edit:
Topic fueled by curiosity: Assume I was making a Pokemon rom game and all of you guys were in it as important NPCs (whose role would be decided later). The twist in the game is that each and every trainer team has a relatively obvious gimmick, whether it's a battling one, or something in design. Not every NPC has to have a full team of 6 and in fact most wouldn't.
What team would you like to have? Doesn't have to be special or anything. Assuming different game versions, it could change, or swap completely if it was a pre- and post- storyline version Gym Leaders or Elite Four, or Tower/Subway/Maison guys.
I'd have a cameo in it as some guy in a swamp somewhere, with a team of Life Orb Seismitoad, Leftovers Toxicroak, and a Damp Rock Politoed. With an option of Greninja or Poliwrath maybe.

Re: General chat: Talk about literally anything because you do anyway.
Actually that was one of the ideas I had You can do an awful lot with them, each one with it's own bizzare moves. Obviously ones with Legendary Signature moves would be in the game somewhere, and they would be absolutely terrible.
I also thought of having a team of Dittos. But against any remotely stall-ish team they'd lose hard and fast. So. 4 Dittos, Gothitelle, and Gengar. For trapping and surgical wall removal.
OH and then I'd have a guy in there. Just a guy. A faintly annoying guy with no interesting personality, just a guy that shows up EXACTLY where the points during gameplay that you don't want interruptions during and the points where you've completely forgotten him cross over. He'll have different Pokemon each time... but each time, all of his Pokemon will be the exact same. Which is fine when they're all Magikarp but pretty sucky when he's spamming Scarf Garchomp.

Re: General chat: Talk about literally anything because you do anyway.
I think our main problem is that as a forum, we only have like one thread that is frequently used, and that's this one. It's more a skype for people who dont use skype (as in, keeping in touch with friends) than actually discussing Pokemon in much detail, I feel. The only other threads I frequently see updated at all are the replay thread and like some odd individual threads (like OJ's sigquote thread).

Umm, just wondering, but.. Why?
Gotta say, I am genuinely worried about the Wii U. For so many reasons, but mostly... I feel it isn't gonna pull through and won't be worth what I spend on it.

AND THERE'S A BLOOPER SPACESHIP.
Also the retro tracks have gotten massive bumps in visuals and music, and in most cases layout.
But yeah, the Wii U is just having the same issues that the 3DS did at launch. I think Smash Bros. is really going to draw people in, and Mario Kart 8 definitely won't hurt.

Re: General chat: Talk about literally anything because you do anyway.
But the timeframe is completely off:( the 3DS was slow to start, yes, but the wiiU is positively glacial by comparison. Also, it could ride on the DS's coat tails; the Wii wasn't entirely popular by the end of it a life cycle either. Also, the 3DS (besides mobile games, which don't really count) didn't have a major competitor. Vita didn't do well. The Wii U has TWO, both of which are both superior in specs and genuinely doing well. Meanwhile, Nintendo shows no signs of doing anything differently - we were always gonna get a SSB and a Mario Kart.
Le sigh.
Good games I bought for the Wii:
Galaxy 1 and 2
mk Wii
Brawl
PKMN battle revolution (shite, but it WOULD sway me to get a console anyway)
Sin and Punishment 2
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: Crystal Bearer
World of Goo (heheh )
And then came either the shovelware or games I just did not like (Mario Party, Sonic and the Secret Rings).
If I had the Wii U, would I buy the same set of games? Assuming I ended up with the same amount of games in my collection, which is likely. I don't buy too often. But yeah, I would. They were all fun to play.
But would I buy the console if I knew those were the only games I ended up liking? No. My Wii went largely unused between game releases. Nothing wowed me enough to get me to buy unknown games. I was still on the fence about Monster Hunter, to be honest. And I don't know if I'd buy Bayonetta or X or the wonderful 101 if it came down to it.
Which is worrying! Nintendo should at the very least have my support if not a stranger's. But they act almost as though we should be thanking them for the meagre fare they provide, treating every release as a gift from god. If we act like that it's only because there are so few worth reacting over :/

Re: General chat: Talk about literally anything because you do anyway.
I have a thick fat swinub iirc but it probably doesn't have SR, don't even know if it's female. I can have a look and try to make one happen if you want but you'd be better off trying yourself also because I don't know how long it will take.
Question though, why Stealth Rock? SR is great on the lead mamoswine set but that one really wants Endeavour (and oblivious probably). The offensive sets need all the moveslot they can get.
Edit: OH AND 29 HP IVs! If you're using Life Orb it'll reduce the damage from it and from stealth rock. Wow breeding mamoswine sure is complicated.

Re: General chat: Talk about literally anything because you do anyway.
Good idea. Best to have all options available rather than regret working on a useless pokemon later.
On that note, should I try to get a swinub with Icicle Spear too? Whatever egg I hatch is gonna have Thick Fat, SR, Freeze Dry, Icicle Crash and a jolly nature just because it's convenient, but I can work in Icicle Spear too with relatively little inconvenience if you want.
(I actually want a Mamoswine myself, but... Tutors )
