Smogon did some calcs already, and apparently it's HP is in the realm of shitty-ghost-type HP stat. Specifically, better than Dusknoir but worse than Banette. On the other hand, it'll very likely get Pain Split.

I dunno. Makes the most sense after perhaps Fire or Bug having small HP stats. If HP is vitality and you're dead... Well, Shedinja is the closest it gets to making sense.

ghost pokemon should have negative hp and healing moves do damage and so does potion and revive while being attacked helps you

And stomp should have variable damage based on Height just because.

You know all those weird quirky move side effects? Payday, stomp and minimise, solarbeam recharge? There should be more things like that.

That's kind of the way it goes in other RPGs that have the Zombie status. Throw a phoenix down at the undead enemies. Just don't complain about not getting exp after the battle.

Throw a trickster mode Jane at them; we're all aware of the trope! Hmmm... Healing pulse, SE on ghost types?? Curse is the precedent there.

i mean lets have pokemon be able to weild honedge for a bonus attack damage theres been loads of fanart of it so why should we not be able to do so?

Because then you're getting into Disgaea territory with the Magic Change.

Well for one thing if we're evolving squids by holding them upside-down, I'd say yes there are going to be a lot more gimmicks in gen 6.

Magic Changing pokemon would be really cool, though.

The treething is aparently in no way related to the legendaries, I mean, how else could there be a swarm. The DNA thing was speculated to be a theme, so maybe it is a new attack for Mewtwo?

The punch is a new attack called Glow Punch, according to Serebii.

I know it's been tossed around, but it's hard to tell how much of it is a legitimate rumor and how much is wishful thinking that's gone viral.
