from what i've heard, and i'm probably wrong, nightvale is basically a radio show like they used to do before tv. i personally think it's an awesome idea but i know nothing about the series so idk

That sounds interesting but ultimately fails to rouse me to action. Perhaps I'll idly stumble across it in the future.

Just so everyone knows, I lost the tip to my laptop adapter (yes, the tip, since it has an interchangeable tip in order to fit multiple computers), so I could basically be off the internet for a few days to the rest of the week until I get a new tip/entire adapter.

As a result, it might be kind of hard to impossible to communicate with me during that time, and I won't really be able to keep up with role-playing things very well.

I'm not sure if you already saw this but I think it needs to be posted here:

Mainly because I like to challenge myself and make myself learn new things, even when playing Pokémon. Also, because the anime is better in Japanese; even though the translations for the games were never bad to start with and only seem to be getting better, I sometimes like consistency in my life.

And because I actually like a bunch of the Japanese names better, which is why you'll catch me accidentally typing them instead sometimes (and merely striking them through because I'm not actually ashamed of it).

Lepardas. It sounds a little like a certain unrelated real cat genus, but it kind of has a ring to it. And for that matter, we also had Persian which didn't look anything like a Persian, so there actually would have been a little bit of symmetry there.
Liepard? Oh god. It's like, the sbahj version of the name. I'm not sure it's even possible to say it out loud in a way that doesn't sound at least a little bit stupid and/or awkwardly-stressed.
