Ballstuck: A Pokémon SBURB RP

Pretty awesome and it seems we got background for all 12 now, right?

About the questions:

a) Do we want complicated shenanigans, like Jade or do wewant to keep it simple?

b) While Cyano probably doesn't live near anyone he DOES spend time on the internet. I could easily be friends with some of you, though he probably isn't to nice, especially to the happy, carefree, childish ones

Also, while I'd prefer Derse, I'd be okay with either moon

At first I'd imagine Glitch is Prospit by his personality, but he COULD be the "outcast" like Vriska and Nepeta

Isaac would probably be Prospit, but moon is not especially important.

I think we should draw a map of our world and mark where each of us wants to live.
And how we know each other; we could have our version of aliens (Digimons) who help us contact each other.

Getting our copy of SBURB (spurb?); How does our version even comes into existence? Did one of us find it and made it? Or did a big company that may or may not have connection to one of us created it?

Also, we have 4 girls and 8 boys.
We should have 2 girls and 4 boys on Prospit and on Derse.
I think HHO is more like a Prospit person, but let's see how it works out.

Time = Derse
Space = Prospit
So I guess I'll be Derse.

I'm living near a major city on the large graveyard, as such, I do have access to most stuff you can get in a city but I don't have much contact to other people.

We could just have a digital download, made public by a computer game company (aka Skaianet)

glitchs gonna live... i guess in a forest? maybe like, a treehouse or something???? or just a city idk

Isaac lives with a circus, so it might be helpful for it to be a traveling circus so that he could have met some other people in person.

Tobias, lives in a desert oasis. Probably near a town or something, or caravans just come by often.

The manor that Asha landed in can be wherever it needs to be, in terms of meeting people and such

Elegial lives in a cold, fairly mountainous place, similar to the area around Snowpoint City. There'd likely be at least one town nearby (she'd need to get supplies from somewhere), so if anybody wants to live in a freezing cold wasteland... We can be friends?

B)Scoville's living in a midsized town, if anyone wants their character to have popped into Scoville's forge for a commission and then have become friends with him and eventually giving him SBURB that would make sense for both of us. CC, after reading Kaichi's bio, maybe you want to be that person? And I was making you custom claws or something? And/or Rozewolf could live there too, so that's three of us right there.

Also, my strife specibus we determined to be hammerkind, and today I realized that it should also be anvilkind because oh my god can you imagine the shenanigans with anvils??? Just see what happens in Minecraft!

I'd say, we shouldn't plan to make the session fail. If the session DOES fail, okay, if the session doesn't fail, even better.

Also, are you only a weaponssmith or do you do other stuff as well?

Prospit's a fine choice. Space and Time are really the only aspects that have a semi-enforced moon; I'd say choosing Prospit is fine for a Seer of Heart.

I don't really mind about this, though I do find that failed sessions give some more flexibility in plot. Don't really mind, though.

We've had two so far; I posted mine because it seems like we needed some form of record given how disorganised we we, and VD seems to be stepping up as GM so I'm happy to leave summary duties to them.

if it was for the sake of having a plot id be fine with being a failed session

for that though, we obviously need a plot in the first place

if we dont manage to think of one then we should keep it just as a normal (and successful) session

I'd say we should TRY to make the session work, like anyone probably does. If it works out or not is something we'll just have to see...

Yeah, that makes sense. We shouldn't go into the game planning for failure.

Anyways, I think it's high time we start considering lands. For me, as a Heart player, I was thinking Land of Glass and _____. Glass is reflective, duh, and the _____ would be filled in with a theme VD chooses for our session, if any. I guess if I had to fill it in myself I'd say Poles. As in the magnetic kind. Not the people kind. (I used random.org to get a letter, then chose a noun starting with that letter) So, Land of Glass and Poles.

As for consorts, my instinct is that with Pokemon denizens we should have Pokemon consorts that are similar to the denizens in some way. So, for Cobalion, it'd be Riolu, and for Zekrom, which I think was mine, it'd be Blitzle.

In fact, I'll do a list of these because I think this is pretty easy.

For all of these I considered Pokemon of the same type primarily, and then of the same sort of bearing. Like, if X wasn't legendary, it sure would have a baby looking like Y.

I don't think we need a "theme for the session" for the purpose of determining lands, since I thought the second element in the land's name besides the aspect one was just based on the player's personality/class/denizen/something that looks cool and random and might maybe go with the player in some way, or some combination thereof.

(Then again, as much as Hussie loves patterns, I guess I could have missed something there.

And I guess I still have yet to do my huge analysis of the bios since I was doing VirtualBox/Dinostuck stuff today, so maybe we'll incidentally end up with some kind of theme anyway. I'll have to see.)

I mean, I'd be okay with Murkrow but the original idea was Pokemon playing Sburb and now our Sburb game is getting more and more pokemonish and less like Sburb...

For my land, I' like to do something with Fog, so either Land of Fog and _____ or Land of _____ and Fog

EDIT: There are theories for patterns but none are proven by canon. The only pattern we know is that of the void session of the post scratch kids, with Land of (Burial) and (Noblegas)

I agree with this.

Absolutely no clue about my land.

I actually agree, I don't think consorts should be pokemon.
They and frogs seem consistent across all sessions.
/bitter feeling about legendaries being Denizens.
