actually you can just fight me with a gen v team if you want.  my ghost team was originally made as a gen v team and the only change i made was aegislash (and mega gengar but that got banned) (to be fair though aegislash is a pretty big change)

But whenever you use the /challenge command to fight someone on the lobby, it doesn't change your rating. The only way for you to fight Gela in a rated battle is for you to just happen to randomly fight him after using the "Look for a battle" button.

Ostensibly this is to prevent you from inflating your score by fighting a team of Magikarps or Metapods on another computer. Makes sense to me.

Edit: wait what the hell mega Gengar got banned on Showdown?
