Speaking of Taokaka, apparently it trips the censors in XY. I know because I caught an Espurr that I wanted to send out via Wonder Trade, and I couldn't name her that.

Man, I hate how the PSP is so rubbish for multiplayer. I got pretty good at Dissidia at one point too, but then I got bored because there's only so long you can squeeze single player game fun out of multiplayer games.

They should make it so that you can name them like this but not trade them, that'd be much better in my opinion.

I just wish they'd add some nuance to the system so that Pokémon like Cofagrigus could be traded without nicknames.

See, this whole thing is annoying and the reason they added it in was only to avoid mons with weird names being used against other players or in trades.

Lets just say that you can't trade them and maybe make some battle rules that you can't use them for online battles.

Or even better, if you attempt to use them in a battle with another player, their nickname will not be shown and instead their regular species name will be shown.

Well, that IS technically possible. We don't understand gravity good enough to say with 100% certainty that it won't just stop working. However, and I am no gambling man but if I were, I would not bet on it happening.
