While using Hoenn would be funny, I'd make things difficult for me, since there is no place like the one I described. The only place where there are graves is on a mountain on an island, there is no city even CLOSE to that...

And I might be missremembering, but I think there isn't really any good snowy mountains there either...

Plus, Hoenn is ONE land on the Pokemon world and I am 99% sure that an actual Pokemon worldmap exists, since I've seen one where they showed where the different regions ly in corelation to eachother

Hmm, no, although I do kind of like that one.

It's a picture of a world globe and I think there are pictures of where the other regions are on it as well. I think this globe is official but I am not 100% sure. Either way, it shows that there is A LOT of space of land that ISN'T part of any region.

Also, we live in the PMD world, doesn't that one look even more different?

Give me a sec and I'll find a nice map of that as well...

The point is, I don't think we should use any of the maps that already exist, because they don't really fit our interesst. Plus, I don't think we need it, we don't know where exactly the trolls live, especially compared to eachother, but it was still fine

We should probably make a short list where everybody lives but I assume that many of us will live quite a bit away from eachother, so using an actual map might be a little difficult...

It's essentially impossible for me to be on the chat at the same time as everyone else given the timezone; I'm happy with whatever decision you guys make.

I would like to say, though, that we don't need to fill in the world map. Hivebemt didn't have a map at any particular point in time, and it never really described how close to each other the trolls lived. If we just have a vague idea of the area (ie: deserts near equator, colder areas further north, etc.) then that should be enough.

It's not impossible. I think it's 6-8 am for you when most of us are around. But I'm not gonna force you to be here if it's inconvenient for you. When I was at your age I wouldn't wake up till 11 am on weekends.

I can be on 6-8 on most weekdays, since I get up around then for school, but weekend's a bit harder for a few reasons (one of which being my sleep pattern, which you are completely correct about). But I'm happy to go along with what you guys decide in the chat, since I won't be there a lot of the time.

I'll just say one thing

ive got like literally no idea of what would my land be

though if you guys need a windish word then id choose typhoon mspa

Also I guess I'm neutral about Pokéconsorts, I like the idea and don't see any problems with replacing certain species with Pokémon, but I'm also fine if other people think it should stay as normal consorts... though that could be a bit awkward

yeah, non-pokemon consorts was a thing we all agreed on when deciding denizens, though i don't care either way myself.

i also think we should have our own world, though it could just be a modified PMD world.

i'd prefer to be on derse, but don't care if i need to be bumped to prospit for the sake of balance or something.

regarding the "how do we know eachother": with all the traveling she does, pen could have been acquainted with several of you before. as for getting the game in the first place, it'll be her reward from a 'client'. "as promised, here's your TM. can't say i've heard of a move called "SBURB" though..."

i used the random land generator for my land, and i got...this. i can deal with this.
obviously the only things i'm sticking with are the land's theme and its consorts.

Do you mean it would be akward if some have Pokemon and some have normal? In that case, I agree.

I wasn't there for that denizen discussion. Every time I bring up denizens though I get shooshed out of existance. If there was a vote though I'd say we should have either Pokemon denizens and consorts or regular denizens and consorts, but not mixed. It seems odd to tamper with one part of SBURB when, as OJ said, we're bringing Pokemon to SBURB, not turning SBURB into Pokemon.

Also, I should we should make another vote about the denizen stuff, when I talked in the chat about it there were at least 5 people who didn't like the idea of Pokemon as denizens and since we are only 12...

I actually like the idea of having legendaries as denizens, because they're an analogue to the bases for the real denizens: semi-mythical creatures of incredible power. If we make the legendaries strong enough that there's little hope for everybody combined to beat them, then I'm perfectly fine with making them legendaries. I don't reallyind either way, though.

tl;dr: I vote yes on legendaries=denizens, but don't particularly mind.

I don't particularly like the idea, since denizens are supposed to be universally consistent and changing them kinda makes the game less Sburb. They are also pokemon, which mean that they could even have been players. I can see why they could be a substitute for denizens, but I don't think it's a good idea.
They seem more fit for the role of trollish Ancestors (as in lead models/legends/symbols). We could work them into the story quite easily without the need of changing the denizens.
But if the majority of us want it to be a thing, so be it.

I think you guys can summarise this as being 'who wants a pokemon-version of sburb' and 'who wants sburb where the main players are Pokemon.' You'd want to discuss those before moving further because it'll cause problems down the line - especially since some of you are stalwart supporters of opposite styles.

Pokemon Bilious Slick?
Pokemon-fusion Black King?
Pokemon-consorts?
Evolution as a byproduct of GodTiering?
EXP tied to echeladder? Held items? ...PP? Fainting or death? Opponents using actually in-game moves and combinations of moves to attack? Those are all things that would have a chance to be in the former suggestion, but likely not in the latter.

But I'm an impartial spectator just clarifying points made. A catalyst, if you will.

i like legendenizens cause theyre cool

also for the frogs people suggested on having arceus be the universe and we be hatching eggs until we found a shiny arceus but that idea was rejected for normal frogs instead

the black king is gonna be fused with pokémon for sure cause prototyping

pokéconsorts i dunno im fine with it

evolution was decided on "not happening"
exp nope, held items... thats just something youre holding mspa

, pp nope, its death this is no pokémon battles, opponents using in-game moves only if theyre prototyped with other pokémon (like an imp prototyped with chamander using ember)
