The Unova Elite 4 does get a Dragon specialist in B2W2: the new Champion Iris. But OJ's playing Black, not Black 2, so he doesn't have to worry about Dragon types. But after looking back over the Elite 4's teams, an Ice attack would be fairly helpful, with Electric somewhat less so and Fire decidedly not (apart from a single Pokémon that can be taken out through other means).

Oh, and hey, does Lassie have Return? It's probably the most generally useful Normal attack you can give her, assuming she's at full happiness(which I'd be seriously surprised if she doesn't). You can buy the TM in Nimbasa City's pokèmon center.
Actually, maybe it'd be helpful if you'd list your team's movesets here so we can give recommendations?

Hmm, I DID catch a Durant since my last update and there are a couple of mons I could use instead of Sleipnir, the main reason why I was using him was after all that I wanted something against the Nimbasa gym and Emolga.

I guess there is nothing wrong in posting the current moves of my Team, I'll add that in a second.

Oh and no, I forgot to buy return, thanks for reminding me.

I never needed to use any revives for anything in any game of Pokemon yet and I don't plan to make this my first time

revives aren't shameful

reminds me of the time i used a lot of revives and full restores to power through the kanto elite 4 when my pokemon were levels 35-45.

good times.

Pokemons:

Last time I was about to go train on the Victory road

And so I did.

I've spend quite some time there leveling my mons untill they were all at least level 55

While training I encountered and caught a few more Pokemons, namely Arne the Fermicula (Durant) and Ida the Stalobor (Excadrill)

Also, the strangest thing happened. When I was about to finish training Fluffy, the last memeber of my team who had to reach level 55, I ran into a wild Woobat. I was about to run away, when I noticed it's odd colour. She had odd, green fur. I quickly caught her and named her Star, though I think I'll rename her when I get a better idea...

Though this taught me that I really should alway have at least one mon on my team that can use false swipe. Maybe I'll tech Marianne that move after I'm done with the elite four

Speaking of which, I'll challenge them next, there are a few more thing to prepare and I am low on energy

I'll tell you how it went next time...

Pokemons:

Last time I was about to go challenge the elite four

Or so I said.

Instead I decided to dick around for a bit and try to breed an awesome baton pass Durant

So I taught Marianne False Swipe and went to catch a female Durant, since I needed a female one to breed

While I was already on the road trying to catch another Durant I figured I'd try to catch Terrakium (Terrakion) as well

That's how Galahad the Terrakium (Terrakion) and Queen the Fermicula (Durant) joined the team

I also trained Red untill it evolved twice, first to Rollum (Whirlipede) and then to Cerapendra (Scolipede), and learned Baton Pass, so I could breed him with Queen

It was only when I was training Queen, so she would learn iron defense, that I realized that I was still missing important TMs...

After that I decided that it was time to visit route 17, which I had forgotten to do so far...

There I caught Dory the Mamolida (Alomomola)

But after that I decided to finally go to the elite four.

-------------------------

I have prepared myself well and my Pokemons were ready, I taught them all the moves they needed and my items were well stocked. The plan was simple, Koopa would quickly take them down by steamrolling everything with a combination of Earthquake, Crunch, Dragon Claw and Brick Break. And this seemed to work well. Sure, a small change in strategy were needed against the fighting guy but I'd cross that bridge when I needed to.

First was Kattlea (Caitlin), who was beaten in mere moments.
After her, I challenged Astor (Grimsley), who was easy enough, even though his Irokex (Scrafty) managed to hit Koopa once and did so quite hard...
Next I fought Anissa (Shauntal), her Echnatoll (Cofagrigus) was taken down by Lassie, so that Koopa wouldn't be infected by Mummy
Then I only needed to take down Eugen (Marshal) Which was easy enough for my Pokemon

I was ready to face the champion...

But there he was, N

He had annoyed me through the entire game and now he had beaten the old champion

I was ready to challenge him!

But then he made his castle appear...

I had heard of the castle before, so I wasn't so surprised, though I had not expected what would await me within

As soon as I entered I was challenged by the old guys who worked for N. Batteling 6 enemies after eachother? That would be hard...

But I was saved by the gymleaders, who stopped these old men

I went on, so I could find N

Within the castle I found many helpful items as well as a computer and a girl who healed my pokemon (which I didn't really needed, since I had obviously healed my Pokemons before I went to challenge the champion, looks like I wasted that stuff...)

When I finally found N all he did was talk and talk again, it was getting frustrating...

But then Reshiram appeared, bursting through the wall behind me

I easily caught it but decided to send Lucifer to the Box, I wanted to stick to my own team

Fighting N wasn't too easy but it didn't take to much, I didn't even need to use Marianne

After I had taken him down, I was surprised to be faced by G-Cis (who I still think has a stupid name)

For a moment I was actually worried, since my Pokemons, even though the fight wasn't to hard, had still taken a bit of a hit from N but then they were luckily healed a bit

G-Cis was actually a bit tricky, mostly do to his Cofagrigus, the fact that Koopa got defeated before Caesurio (Bisharp) got send out and the fact that his Zapplarang (Eelektross) had both Fire and Flying moves and stuff like that...

But eventually I beat him, I got to hear a bit talk about Team Plasma, heros, believes and stuf like that

And then the game ended.

There is still a lot I haven't been to yet but the main story seems to be finished

I think next I'll explore a bit. Maybe I'll raise an Eelektross of my own I do have Hirundinea after all and that movepool really impressed me. And while Eelektross are a bit slow for my taste, it could still fill the whole Fire/Elektric attacks spot that Sleipnir is holding at the moment quite nicely. Hmm...

Oh well, you'll hear what happens next in the next update

Hey, Congrats dude.
Also, yeah, Lucifer is a really witty name.
The post game has a lot of things, but as many other stuff, it's much better in B2W2. Have fun, nevertheless.

I'm starting to explore the post game a little now, I already caught some stuff.

I was a little scared/surprised when the trainers on the next routes had Pokemon on level 65 but so far I've been easily able to beat them.

Also, I got to explore some old stuff again because now it's winter.

I'll probably write a bigger update a little later.

Awesome face is awesome. And yeah, something I liked about B/W was how there was half a region to explore afterwards, and you can even go and do the elite 4 to challenge the champion. There's not a lot to do after that, mind you, except for training, the musicals which doesn't get you anything and the subway. So it's not great. Still, it should you occupied for a while.

Oh yeah, it's winter now. Thanks for reminding me, I will be able to get some stuff now too.
Also, don't forget to go back to the Desert Resort, you can get Earthquake now. And something really awesome.

It feels like it's been Autumn in-game forever. The season always seemed to pass me by before. It's nice seeing all the whites instead of all the browns Very Happy

Ugh, I hate BWBW winter. It doesn't look anything like actual winter, for one thing-- aside from the changes in weather, the only thing different is that the leaves of all trees turn bright blue(while staying on the tree). I didn't notice it when I first played, but now I can't play these games in winter without noticing it after it was pointed out to me. It looks so dumb and unrealistic and it bugs me probably way more than it should.

Pokemons:

Last time I was about to explore the postgame

And so I did.

The first thing I did was take a look at the new places. I was a bit surprised/shocked that the trainer there had Pokemon on Level 65 but I managed to beat then either way.

Over time I managed to go to each of the three cities and my Pokemon reached level 60

I also found most of the sages already.

When I went to get the egg from route 18 I ran into the first one, Rubius (Rood), who gave me Double Team. I must admit, I had expected that I would have to fight the sages and I was honestly a bit disapointed...

I found the next when I was exploring the new cities, then one in the cold storage and the fourth in the old palace, where I caught Ra the Ramoth (Volcarona)

Actually, I think I should probably post a list of all the Pokemon I caught...
New Pokemons:

Not much else has happened yet, but I think I'll start some breeding soon...

It definitely helps that the trainers in the post-game routes usually have unevolved Pokémon, so their stats are lower. It's still a bit of a nasty surprise, though.

Yeah, that's definatly true. It's not like I couldn't beat them but most of my Team was ten levels below their enemies and that was just a bit of a scary surprise...

Okay, I have a quick question:

I am way into the post game and there is obviously not much story anymore, all that's left to do is train, catch and breed. Some minor things besides that but that's mostly it.
Is anyone interessted in seeing any updates like that?
