OJs Playthrough Number 2 or Y am I doing this again?

I finally got Pokebank, so I moved all the Pokemons from the previous trainer and have now started playing Pokemon Y.

I started the game as the blond boy. Because I am blond. And a boy.

My name is Jacob, though my "friends" call me OverlordJ

When I left my house I was greeted by two females, both with names that started with an S

They wanted me to follow them to get my first Pokemon.

I followed them to the nearby city, where I met two other guys. Sheesh, four "friends" in one game...

I started my game with Marko, the Igamaro (Chespin)

In the nearby town I bought 10 Pokeballs but I was stopped from leaving, since I needed to give my mother a love letter from some weird professor. Great.

I went back and the smaller girl, the one who picked Froxy (Froakie) wanted to fight me. Of course an easy fight, especially since Igamaro already knew vinewhip.

After I gave my mother the letter I was allowed to continue. I caught Tengu the Taubsi (Pidgey), Farch the Dartiri (Fletchling), Silk the Purmel (Scatterbug) and lastly Clyde the Zigzachs (Zigzagoon), who later turned out to be a Glutton, much to my disapointment. Farch was actually meant to be named after Fawkes, but I forgot how exactly Fawkes name was, I might fix that later.

After that the irls showed me how to catch Pokemons and gave me some balls. Whoops...

In the forest I caught Bella the Raupy (Caterpie) and one of each of the three monkeys, who I named Faygo, Brokkoli and Mojo-Jojo. Bella already evolved into Safcon (Metapod) by now. Too bad I forgot to feed her some Pokepuffs befor she evolved, since now she's unable to eat, at least untill she evolves again.

I am about to leave the forest now, I wonder what'll happen next.

"Froxy" is the german for Froakie?? Yeeesh that must be confusing for some people. Like me in the early days of BW: Mandibuzz != Volcarona.

(Mandibles + buzz, the sound bugs make, and "vul" like vulture and car like carrion and a, an ending typically used to make the bearer feminine. If Vullaby evolved into something called Volcarona I would not complain.)

What's confusing about Froxy?

The other two are named Igamaro and Fynx.

Froxy and Fynx are no more confusing then Froakie and Fennekin.

froakie and fennekin aren't that easy to mix up

froak-ie: frogs croak

Froxy: Frog + Foxy!

Technically, it's from Frosch and Proxy, which is a reference to "Wetterfrosch" I believe.

It isn't really clear where Fynx comes from, the F- is likely from either "Fuchs" or "Feuer", while the -ynx might be from lynx, though since lynx are called "Luchs" in German, I'm not too sure about that...

Also, I never said that Fennekin and Froakie are easily confused, I said that Froxy and Fynx are no easier confused with one another then Fennekin and Froakie are.

Well, I guess I'm making a double post now, I did a lot of stuff already.

Last time I was about to leave the forest. And so I did.

Well, to be honest, I've been playing for a while, so I'm not totally sure. I remember I got some skates in the next city and that I kicked the gym leaders ass. I especially trained a Porenta (Farfetch'd) for it but I didn't even need it, Marko just beat her two Pokemons on his own.

I was surprised to find out that apparently this town is close to the victory road, at first I thought it was odd to put the entrance so early then I remembered where the entrance to the victory road was in gen 1...

I was a bit disapointed to find out that you only get a "sneak peek" for Illumina City (Lumiose City).

I continued and found the berrie fields. I have already harvested my first batch and I already got one mutation. I am excited.

Now, since I caught quite a few Pokemons, I'll put a list of them here in the spoilers. Oh, and I fixed Fawkes name with the name rater. This change as well as all evolutions will be marked in the list, too.

I still like to imagine that all the maintenance workers in Lumiose were playing a prank on you. Like, "hehe, dumbass kid, didn't even notice that all the lights in the fucking city were on when we told him there was a powerout."

In other news, I wouldn't be surprised if you beat Y before me, although I bet CA and/or my roommate would be pissed at me.

Well, a lot of stuff happenend again, so let's get this started

Last time I was about to parfume place. And so I did.

Basically I quickly did the palace and then continued on. I planted my second batch of berries (Mostly the basic one and the ones against poison) and then continued onward.

Next I had to go through a short tunnel, then do some stuff with fossiles, where I first encountered the "bad guy minions" of this game. I got the T-Rex fossile but didn't bother reviving it yet...

I also rock smached the shit out of a lot of rocks. How many you ask?

Lets just say I have 4 soft sands and 9 hard stones by now and I didn't even spend THAT much time with rock smashing...

Oh yeah, in the town after that I got a bike and there was a gym leader, who stood no chance against me, because I think I left my exp share thing on for too much...

Also, Rock Smash...

But did I leave it be at that? Heck no, I continued onwards.

So then I passed through the "Nothing is happening here YET but you can bet this'll become important" part

So then I continued to the weird mirror cave thingy. That was actually kind of challenging. Well, not really, but more challenging then the other stuff at least.

So then I came to the next town, that place where the mega evolution gets explained.

Truth to be told, the fighting type gym didn't stand a chance against my overleveled Guardevoir... And even if they had, somehow, managed to take HER down, there would still have been the ghost and the two flying types in my party to back her up...

So that's how I got the next badge. And then a free Lucario and a free Lapras

And then I surfed around a bit and then I returned to the berries for now.

Of, also, I've been doing some super training, and Grace got medals in all but two categories now (At least unless there is a third secret training that I don't yet know about)

I didn't do too much this time, mostly just some berries, some super training and stuff like that...

Last time I was about to go to the next city. And so I did.

In this city I found a lot of neat items and most importantly, finally got Fly.

Idefeated the gym fairly easily and quickly and am now finally able to fly around on Gregor.

I also trained Zauber, so that he joined my team now. I'm kind of unsure what attacks to ive every member of my team though...

Also, I think Lumiose city might have opened up a little now?

You are a little late pD, I finished the game by now, though I haven't really explored the post game yet.

I do enjoy it though

...I can guarantee you've already explored the post game I like X and Y but they really aren't kidding when they said there isn't any.

Unless by postgame you mean THE COMPETITIVE SCENE in which case COME ON IN THE WATER'S WARM (and not full of Politoeds)

Oh yeah, how's TPP going these days?

And by post game I mean that I haven't played in the battle maison or what's it called, so I still have one fight against my rival coming and I can't look for mega stones yet and I think those Looker quests are something I'll be able to do later.

That said I have EV trained my current team and they are (almost) all at level 85 or higher, I have all the O-powers except the breeding one, though I did recently hit maximum style and except the stealth and the encounter power I got the level 3 version of all O-powers I have, I have all berries except Wikiberrie, Habanberrie and the two you get from the Maison and in the Chateau I have the rank of an Earl I believe, mostly because I skipped over that place untill I've had beat the game which makes fighting there a bit... disapointing... Though Viscountess Julia (at least I think that's her english name) is hilarious.

The NPCs in the Chateau are all amusing.
Heh, the Looker story is kinda silly. But cool. One of these days we should battle.

And TPP is doing alright, currently we're playing Emerald. Now that the hype is over it has less viewer but there are still an average 10k people who plays. I still enjoy it. We just spent 40 hours trying to ash ketchum Wattson's Gym. It took 23 attempts and we accidentally released our starter but we did it.
Also, trumpets, man. ༼ つ ◕‿‿◕ ༽つ -=iii=<() ♫♪♫

Trumpets are great and anyone who has a problem with them is wrong.

I figured out where to get the breeding O-power and got it to level 2 already.

I think Julia is the Maid who's a battlerobot. Maidrobot. Either of those two.

Once I finished getting the Breeding power to level three I can start the "competivtiv breeding"*

*Warning, "competitiv breeding" may or may not mean breeding some totally not competitiv pokemons but trying to give them useful IVs

And yes, we should definitely play against eachother sometime.
