Introduce yourself!

So I've noticed a few users joining up but I have not seen them post anywhere yet, and realised there's isn't really anywhere TO post at first that doesn't seem intimidating or whatever. So if you're new, old, a lurker, a regular poster, here mainly for the chatbox, here mainly for the general chatthread, only here to share lots of pretty art on us or here mainly for the roleplays that are being organised or have started then here's the place to post to break the ice!

I am tinning3, known by the same name on the MSPAForums, which I assume most of you have found us from. If anyone here didn't come from there then they must be confused by some of our words/ injokes I am represented best by a slowpoke as I tend to be a bit slow with a few things but I can be quite intelligent when I need to be. I have played Fire red, Silver, Emerald, Platinum, White and my favourite game is Heart Gold. I tend to hang around the General chat thread the most because I like to talk about a wide variety of things.

An intro thread, good idea! Should we add an introduction template like on the mspafroum thread?

That sounds like a good idea. I wasn't sure what to put, myself. Should I add the one from MSPAF or should we make our own?

Some other forums i use have an entire section for introductions, where new members create their own thread. These threads also serve as "mailboxes" for members, if there are any messages that people want to direct at a certain person. Should we do this?

Also, I'd say we make our own, since questions like "Favourite mspa moment" don't really fit to this forum

i really don't think that's necessary, or even a good idea. we'd just get cluttered with a ton of new threads that will likely die after a month or so. i can see maybe using them as a chat of sorts, but we have a chatbox for that.

Yeah I can see some threads being "HI I'm NEW" "WELCOME!" and then that being that. I don't know though, I don't have a lot of experience with pure introduction threads vs sub sections, especially when taking into consideration the size compared to bigger forums... I don't know which is better, either way, I'll wait for you guys to decide. Till then I'll add those questions to the OP.

bluh, i have so many now. i'm going to have to keep on sticking with totodile, because my love for him preceded all of my knowledge of Pokemon.

water! probably mostly because totodile was my first 'mon, but also because they're pretty OP. they're generally sturdy and can almost always negate one of their two weaknesses with ice.
prolly water/electric :V it's a really nice dual STAB and has some good resistances. flying/dark for the same reasons.

prrrrobably PMD: Explorers of the Sky. oh god i almost cried so much. White's pretty great too.
What is/are your favorite Pokemon Music[s]? B/W's credits music is incredible. Dialga/Palkia's battle themes, and the SSBM remix of G/S's wild theme are also a favorites, along with HG/SS's rendition of the rival theme, B/W's Team Plasma fights, and Village Bridges's music[especially with all the instruments]. actually, every town theme in B/W is pretty great.

I could say water, because most pokemon I like are water pokemon, but that would be silly.

But anyway, I've recently come to really like Bug and Dark.
