i went to nintendo world and other than 3 games (they didnt have lost world and rayman legends D: ) i got little jolteon and chespin action figure-y thingities
and noivern and wobuffet cause those came with the two but they dont matter

well
first of all
i saw a buncha merchandise of... pikachu, the kalos and kanto starters, fletchling, and... the unova starters surprisingly
as well as some others i dont remember prolly
i got luigis mansion 2, wonderful 101 and pikmin 3 as well as donkey kong country returns 3d (finally saw why people love the dkc games) and mario tennis open on the airport, unfortunately they didnt have sonic lost world and rayman legends there D: ill try to get both through either a store somewhere else in new york or the eshop when i get home

I'm not surprised about Pikachu or the Kanto and Kalos starters. I'm guessing the Unova starters were all left over from when Gen V was still a thing, and they just haven't gotten rid of everything yet. I just got a copy of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon myself, although I haven't had a chance to play it yet (I've been playing Lego City Undercover, which is basically Archer plus Grand Theft Auto for kids and made of Legos).

OH BTW NELLY i dont think ill be able to give you your birthday gift in time just in advance
mostly cause im on new york and dont currently have the means of doing it
once i get home by the 7th ill work as hard as i can to finish it though

I don't think I've ever seen them carry any figurines of my favorite Pokemon (i.e. Alakazam, Reuniclus), but they did have this really squishable Celebi plushie that I gave as a present to a friend, which made up for the lack of figurines.

I'd prefer a plushie to a figurine. Then I can attach emotional baggage to it and hug it for relief when I am sad. Which is a thing that happens sometimes.

I want plushies I can get attached to basically :/ I would settle for abstract plushies of my friends but a) that is so creepy, b) everyone else would tell me it's so creepy, and c) I'd be very tempted to try voodoo. Just a little bit. But sometimes you just need a hug from a friend y'know?

I would prefer a Gallade plushie to an action figure, but then my other two favorites are Sceptile and Barbaracle, who lend themselves more to figures.

i would say something to contribute to this discussion but kricketune and maractus have basically zero chance of ever getting made into any kind of merchandise in any way shape or form so i guess i wont
