Jesus Christ dude. I got swept similarly by a Mega Kangaskhan but he didn't even set up. To my knowledge there's nothing that can kill it.

It used Substitute, Sucker Punch, Return and Powerup Punch, right?

Would a ghost type work pretty well against that?

i wall mega kangaskhan all the time

i usually send in dusclops to willowisp it, and if it decides to use another move, i just pain split and wait for the burn to take it out while i set up with something else

sometimes they're choice banded so there's nothing they can do but sucker punch over and over. it's even more fun if i send in mega gengar so it can't switch out

...choice band Kanghaskhan :/ elaborate.

Also OJ: no. If they use Sucker Punch, you can use Will-o-wisp. You win that. But if it has a sub or uses crunch (many use both crunch AND sucker punch) then you're screwed. And if you use an attack and it survives/uses crunch you are similarly screwed. Ghosts = not an ideal counter at all.

Do they use Crunsh intead of Substitute or instead of Return?

Because without Return you might get a problem with Fairy types and without substitube you risk getting killed if they outspeed you.

Sucker Punch. Sub is there mostly to protect from status. So the answer there is: Substitute. Besides why would you give up return, it's your strongest move?

So it's a trade on the set. Weakness to burn/paralysis or weakness to ghosts. Given Gengar and Aegislash... I'll take the burn.

oh wait yeah that wouldn't make sense for them to have choice band

in that case i don't really know why they insist on using sucker punch over and over without doing anything

The most annoying MKanga set is Earthquake, Sucker Punch, Fake Out, Power-Up Punch. It gets really irritating after a while.

I had a comment on this but my internet ate it.

The 2xStone Edge miss? Yep. Sucks. But then they do call it "Stone Miss" for a reason. Being objective about this, Mandibuzz has a huge physical defense as well as Roost, and all it really needed was a single miss for Toxic to inevitably become fatal before any serious damage could be done. On the flip side, Barbaracle is known for its high powered but low accuracy moves. 2 consecutive misses is a not insignificant likelihood, even had Mandibuzz gone down it was still advantage > Mandi since it was gonna take Barbaracle down too.

Unless the luck was another thing that I didn't notice in which case never mind. Something I DID spot though; you have a predilection to let your dudes die when they're low on health, rather than switch out and try to make them weather an attack or something later. That's fine if you know they'll never survive coming back in, i.e hp is too low and they are too slow to attack before being KO'd/a lot of hazards are up, but Klefki (particularly if it's dual screens, is it dual screens?) Is worth saving for later in the match rather than dying for the sake of another layer of spikes. Thunder wave, too, because Prankster. Just something to consider!

Stone edge missed three times in a row, then earthquake failed to kill the stupid Tyranitar and put it down to 2%. Then shadow sneak brought it down to precisely 1%.

i am really loving showdown's new Randoms thingy. 's a lot of unpredictable fun.
i made someone quit with cosmicpower+storedpower sigilgyph.
i swept an entire team with mismagius
i successfully played bulky fearow mindgames with a weird moveset.
me and the opponent's rotoms exchanged choice scarves about 4 times at the beginning of a match.
jumpluff and illumise tried to encore each other on the first turn.
...and once i got a megavenusaur with only 3 moves :T

also i got my butt kicked by a swoobat.

What was with those rules :0 lv 86, 77, 90? Neat lokemon choice though. I lol'd when icy wind was used on Druddigon. Druddigon doesn't have a 4x weakness and it's not a strong move, folks.

That was a random battle on showdown, which has levels like that to equalise teams.

I thought it was something like that, but then you can never tell. Apparently there's also a tier where all Pokémon's stats are 100 across the board (and huge power is banned). It's pretty interesting, things like surskit and riolu have real niches.

That sounds like fun. Is that balanced hackmons?? Oh god, Smeargle. Smeargle should be banned. So should Eviolite.

Man I had a really fun random battle before where I only had Trevenant and Volbeat left, and the other guy had Probopass and Shiftry. I succesfully mindgamesed him to death with naught but a Trevenant and a Volbeat. It was hilarious.

Oh, and it wasn't even the good Trevenant set with harvest and sitrus berry. It was some weird offensive one with natural cure and leftovers.
