theyre just so boringOverlordJ wrote:Why? What's so bad about them?
i mean the bad ones on mspa are the obvious porn sites and those that have no clue how to make a reference but these ones are just so dull that they are worthless crap
Re: Pokemon general chat: Pokemon for breakfast?
Maybe it's a good thing that they're dull and not porn-tastic. Easier to ignore.

Nothing can possible be as boring as "Jesus wants you to click here!!!" (actually saw that on mspa)
And mspa ads come from project wonderful, which might have some effect on their content.

Hristy we <>3< you
I don't use Adblock. Why not let people get money? Doesn't hurt my pocket.
Interesting logical debate there kotakun. But I'm afraid you're completely bunk. I am simply too logical to be taken down by your level of reasoning. For example. Pick a number. Any number...

It only takes like at most a 4 cm high portion of the header though, and like D_What says it doesn't hurt any of us in any way. The only ads I actively dislike are ones used on videos that don't offer a skip button after 5 seconds because you can't ignore them, or the ones on download sites that say DOWNLOAD HERE and CLICK TO DOWNLOAD. Those are actively annoying in the way they get you to click.

Re: Pokemon general chat: Pokemon for breakfast?
why? if you were logical then you would of asked me that in the first question but you didnt and are being ilogical with your expansion of the question into too many parts
Re: Pokemon general chat: Pokemon for breakfast?
I hate the ones that sit right next to a button I'm trying to click. Like when a page loads halfway and you move to click your mouse on something but then it loads fully right as you click and suddenly an ad is in the way?
Does that make sense or am I just really bad at clicking things.

Re: Pokemon general chat: Pokemon for breakfast?
No shhh don't question it this is suspension of disbelief
I.e you're not allowed to disbelieve me, I'm suspending it.
Although actually now that I think about it, anytime I've ever asked somebody to 'pick a card' or 'pick a number' or 'pokemon' or 'celebrity' or anything, 9 times out of 10 I have to ask them to tell me it because they assume (incorrectly) I'm playing an impromptu guessing game.
Sorry, world. The mechanics of how your mind picks things randomly is of interest to nobody but yourselves.
Add with sound when they're not allowed to have sound are the worst. Especially when you have 10+ tabs open and you don't know where it's coming from. But I've heard Chrome are working on a 'media playing' symbol to appear on audio tabs so that could help if I haven't got that wrong.

Re: Pokemon general chat: Pokemon for breakfast?
Whoa. That's just a bit much. Nobody should be killed for a bad joke.
And I'm halfway finished EV training someone's secret santa gift. Watched the entire first season of Scrubs today doing it.

...
It took me longer than I'd like to realise why I found the sweeper joke funny And he looks like a Glenn. That's a sufficiently anticlimactic name. I like that.
I am out of topics.

Where did you get glen from? Because I'm pretty sure that everytime he "told" his name it was later shown that someone else knew him by a different name?
Glen was said in this clip, but only seconds later someone else calls him Tommy.

It's in the series finale (Season 8 ). J.D. asks him his name and he finally tells him. It was also confirmed by the Bill Lawrence, the show's creator.

I was aware of the first part (After all, I DID link to the clip) but I didn't know it was confirmed like that...

The Janitor is one of the best characters in the show.

Re: Pokemon general chat: Pokemon for breakfast?
There was an episode in the later seasons which for plot related reasons had neither JD nor Dr.Cox in it and I realised sometimes afterwards that it was my favourite episode :/
