General Chat: Dawn of THE FIRST DAY (72 hours remain)

I am currently "looking" for a permanent job, by which I mean I have 20 tabs open in chrome with potential jobs in them and I'm deathly afraid of looking at any of them.

Kind of a can-of-worms, pandora's-box situation. I'm afraid to look in case I don't like anything I see - I'm still not completely sure I want to work in the field I'm in, competent or no. Also it's kind of hard to look for medium-sized companies. Startups and Multinationals are easy enough to find, but I want something well established, but still small enough, having had experience in the other two already. It's really very Goldilocks.

completely different topic but you know that pokemon symphony thing that had like three concerts last year? well its back and guess who is going to one of the concerts?

Okay, I'm really annoyed because the Symphony of the Goddesses is coming to my hometown, but I can't go because I'll be back up at college when it happens. And it's on a Thursday, so I can't just make a weekend trip out of it.

(and joinin random battles aint an option since there's no way to do that and also random battles are mostly kinda rare now :c)

I'm rly not feeling Pokémon tho, weirdly. By which I mean online battles, that is.

There's not a chance in hell that the concerts'll ever visit Ireland, so guys, go for me if you get the opportunity! The youtube videos of it are pretty great, sans the quality of the videos themselves. Years ago I found out that there was some sort of concerty thing going on in the largest concert hall in the country, with the theme being video games, and I really wanted to go... my mom said I could but ended up spending the day doing irish music-y things instead. I'm still rather sore about that one, but I've never been one to ignore opportunities for guilt-tripping, so silver lining. It's just too useful, even if it is sad :/

I still go online on KIU often enough, it's fun just to try out different weapon sets. It's also fun when sometimes you get paired with a field of people who's internet isn't working and you have to spend the game protecting them, or when you get paired with guys who end up with a 0 kills 5 deaths ratio, or sometimes you get put into a battle with mostly Japanese players and their weapons have INSANE stats. I hold my own - that doesn't mean I win, it just means they grow to dislike my Guardian shots interrupting their precious Eyetracks. I'm surprisingly good with the Guardian Orbitars actually, and they're hella fun in LvD! If you see me online you should definitely join me, though I am aware KIU doesn't allow for that really > which stinks, by the way. It cannot be that hard. In the meantime I'll settle for MK7 or Smashes, though I'm by no means great at Smash. I've always wanted to do a 4x4 mii battle

Challenge accepted! (But in return, you must best my Guardian Orbitars and my Laser Staff!) And actually my mii is pretty lame, and my favourite character to play as isn't on the roster yet... (Lucas, or Ness with Lucas's moves) so yeah, not so great at Smash.

You know, if reliable internet and timing was a thing and we WERE back in the days when there was a millionty people around, we could do, like, a roundy-relay thingy where we play 1-on-1s in a bunch of games to find out who is, like, best at winning and stuff. Excepting where people don't have the games, of course, but logistics are always a problem.

Seriously how are you even able to land attacks I just spent way too long trying to even pick *up* a Pokeball. I swear, I am not normally this bad! The only damage I could even do was with dashes and that's only because they have a fairly long and quick range...

Aw man, I would love to join in! But I am about to spend several hours helping my parents with stuff, starting in several minutes. Moving is hard work, even when doing it steadily over the course of days! Sorry, guys. Have fun without me! (I'm not very good at Smash anyways, even if I love it. I would totally be down for some MK8 stuff soon, though!)

I don't have mario kart 8 D: 7, yes, but no wii U at the moment.

Anyway I think we have firmly established that I suck and my internet sucks. Also it's after midnight and I have a massive headache that's not to say I don't have room in me for a KIU battle, but anyway! It was fun we should do it again sometime.

EDIT: Actually every time we battle I've been turning off the wireless on my laptop so as to not interfere with the internet... yeah it sucks a little
