Mookbound: The Legend of Mooks [OOC]

Hey guys! On the chatbox we decided we would make an RP where the general plot is that in the world of Nintendia, all of the main Nintendo baddies take everything over! And the mooks, enemies from Nintendo games, decide to fight back against their crappy bosses!

Unfortunately I'm a skittish and nervous GM, but that's why I made this thread! In this thread we can talk about Mookbound, ideas for the story and WIP things (Like character bios and maybe art, please keep everything related to Mookbound)

I'm probably not going to take a part in this, since I want to focus on Ballstuck, or whatever we're going to call it. I hope you don't mind

Well I on the other hand want to be part of both! I'll decide what I want to be later, probably something from Mario and Luigi or Zelda, since Sockop is already from Mario and Luigi.

Here's mine!

Name: Frowler

Species: Wollywog (Pikmin)

Gender: Male

Personality: Frowler is skittish and nervous, but tries to put a tough face on. He's stubborn and will not change his opinion on something unless he's thoroughly convinced. He's relatively polite, and has a habit of rambling.

Background: Frowler has spent his entire life in a cave system under a large forest. He and some of his more adventurous friends would go visit the forest sometimes, but Frowler wanted to stay in the caves, where it was safe. However, the caves were destroyed during the takeover of Nintendia, causing Frowler to wander.

Other: Frowler has blue feet instead of orange.

aw, man. i would really like to join this, but i think i already have my hands full. hopefully later.

Name: Syco

Species: Sockop - Mario and Luigi

Gender: Male (...well... as male as socks can be)

Personality: Syco doesn't know how to interact with others very well, never having actually lived near anyone. He's very timid and normally doesn't talk much, but if he sees he's needed by others, Syco immediately jumps in to help. He may also have some occasional problems with the stored anger he has.

Background: Syco lives at a small, but relatively dangerous, forest, full of poisonous lakes and spikes of death. Unlike most other Sockops, he actually lives by himself, without either a giant or even other of his own kind in general. With the takeover, however, the forest was soon burned down, thus making him flee in fear, not sure of what should he do.

Other: The details under his "mouth" are mustard yellow instead of purple, and he can use his SOOOOCK POWERS to store items inside, and possibly even other living beings if they're small enough.

Name: Gomm

Species: Guay, Legend of Zelda

Gender: Female, to make things different?

Personality: Scared, often hides in high places. Hopefully she'll get over this though.

Background: All her life trees have protected her. Shortly after she was born in a tall tree on Hyrule Field, a green-garbed maniac came along. The entire flock, a dozen strong, flew down at him greedily, but within seconds they were naught but bloody carcasses strewn about the green. Gomm cowered in the tree until the green beast collected the Guay horde's treasure and left, and then she flew far away into the southern forests. There she stayed, moving from treetop to treetop, for most of her life. She probably doesn't even know there was an evil revolution, but if she did she would probably rejoice that the green monster was slain.

Other: Eh, I dunno. Maybe Gomm has a chipped beak, how about that?

I just looked at some of the Brawl in the Family videos which reminded me of this. How is it going?

Well, if you can't find anyone else within the next week then I'll join you. I would prefer if I could focus on ballstuck but I wouldn't want this RP to fail just because of that.

once again, i would love to join, especially since this seems so much less restrictive than ballstuck, but i've already committed myself to that, and i'm bad about trying to do too much at once.

i think you guys should just start with the three of you; it's not like you can't recruit more people along the way. i mean, that's how it works in games, right? you start out on your own and more gradually join you over the course of you adventure.

THERE ARE SPOILERS FOR THE ENDING OF SSBB IN THIS BIO AND oh for christ's sake the game came out in 2008 you should know how it ends but WHATEVER SPOILER WARNING ANYWAY

Name: Unit GC-571, usually referred to as Jeecie.

Species: Glice (Super Smash Bros. Brawl)

Gender: Male, insofar as an apparently robotic construct can be.

Personality: Jeecie is very aggresive and quick to lash out at people. He puts up a cold (hahaha) front, but he actually does care. He knows he will be demoted or killed if he shows emotion, and he thinks that's not fair. This is why he chose to rebel against Tabuu.

Backstory: This guy is that one asshole from the Glacial Peak level with Meta Knight, the Ice Climbers, and Lucario. If you played the game, you know exactly which little shit I'm talking about. Jeecie was assigned by Tabuu to the Glacial Peak, assisting in guarding the then-Subspace-controlled Halberd. Jeecie performed his job admirably, freezing fucking everyone multiple times, but ultimately was defeated by Meta Knight/the Ice Climbers. He was severely punished for this, as was everyone else involved in the Halberd's loss. He became bitter and cold (hahahaha) after this incident, and resolved to do better - until he was caught showing compassion for an injured Borboras. He was punished again, with the lesson "everyone here is expendable - even you." From that day on, he promised himself that he would stand up to Tabuu sometime in the future,
That time is now.

Others: Since he was manufactured, he looks exactly the same as every single other Glice in existence, the one difference being his serial number, 571, stamped on his back. He has a mechanism inside of him that allows him to produce a freezing gas from some pipes when he opens his shell.

Wow you jerk, picking my least favorite SSBB enemy. Remind me to peck your eye out as Gomm.

That was pretty much the intended reaction. Glices are assholes.
I was contemplating being a Jyk for awhile, be glad I ditched that.

Oh god a Glice that's as bad as a Wollywog. You're approved.
Now, should we start, and get more people along the way if other people want to join, or wait for one more person?

The thing is that I'm not going to have as much time soon, because of studying. And I already have to devide my time between many places and RPs. So if you have enough people to play it'd probably be the best if I sit this one out...

I'm honestly fine with whatever amount of people. If J wants to join, I'm totally cool with that because he's a Kewl Dewd, but if he doesn't, that is also fine because I am an Adaptable Dewd.

It's looking like I'm probably going to join this, but I want to beat Mario & Luigi: Dream Team first (to get ideas for possible mook types), so it'll probably be a few days.
