here is the stuff i just made! i put it all together in like 15 minutes so it's not super thought out... but it was REALLY FUN and i love it

the BSTs were mainly kind of in order of what I'd predict their strength relative to each other are??? i dunno if garnet should be weaker than the big quartzes but that felt more "right" i guess.

I suck at specific stats but all I know is Garnet should be well rounded but leaning towards offense, Amethyst should be a glass cannon and Pearl a fragile speedster

also I still don't get fire for Jasper :0 I mean I guess she's orange and has her weird aura thing to her spindash but? She feels like she'd be the rock/fighting to me bc soldier and gem patriot

and on that note: maybe rock-type for post-enhancers peridot. hm.

honestly Fire was slightly biased because I thought it'd be really fun if she had a choice of Rock Head or Reckless and then both Flare Blitz and Head Smash
plus her personality feels a little bit... fire-ish??? admittedly i don't have the best reasoning.

Fighting/Rock is pretty fitting, though I'm also a little hesitant to include it because there are two Fighting-types already? Amethyst doesn't feel very Fighting-y in terms of personality though, I mostly included that because she's a wrestler. Maybe Poison/Dark or Poison/Rock would fit her better?
also her stats are the least thought out because I literally copied her stats off something somebody else already made for her a long time ago then fiddled with them slightly to change the BST. i think i should defs. edit them

man i'm kind of having issues editing ame's stats already... like she should totally be offense-based but, garnet's already offense-based and i don't want amethyst to have higher base Attack than garber? *garnet.

i could drop some of garnet's stats to pump up her attack further but like... she needs to be at least DECENT all around or else she doesn't feel like the brick wall that is garnet.

also how does anyone feel about abilities? there are a few in the list i don't care for much bc. i was trying to find two for each character as quickly as possible, but some of them i feel are really fun and fitting. any HA ideas?

i think amethyst would be pretty tanky? she seems very robust what with quick regeneration + ability to eat anything. maybe high hp low defences to reflect reckless nature?
also, i feel like rose might be more special-focused? her plant powers + healing powers seems to indicate more of a special attacker maybe?

well here's the thing - amethyst IS said to be strong as fuck. not necessarily in physical strength necessarily but iirc the one book said that she can legit almost beat Garnet, so giving them about equal attack should be good

but while Garnet is more balanced, Garnet is way too frail, I suppose :0

also i am way too tired to think of abilities rn

i like that idea for Amethyst but Rose fights with a sword. like, her plant stuff and healing powers are mostly all status move stuff, not based on damage-dealing, and even for the plant thing there are physical attacks like leaf blade and frenzy plant that fit her powers.

oh yeah oj, competitive does sounds like a peridot thing! maybe it replaces Download when she doesn't have her limbhancers & screen.

i don't understand your sentence about garnet there though... are you saying the Garnet stats i threw together are too frail? too balanced?

I'm tired I mean that the two are about as strong as each other offensively tho Garnet is physically stronger because punch

and also that Garnet is more balanced defensively while Amethyst is more frail that was supposed to be an Amethyst

also eating a lot doesn't really have anything to do w being tanky - all gems can eat anything, it's just a matter of wanting to :0

and I think how quickly she regens would go against her being tanky too, like - she poofs easily but comes back to normal in a flash too

tho she probably is tankier than Pearl, at least

i get your points re: amethyst not being very tanky, but "good hp, bad defenses" fits her pretty well IMO. i feel like it's either that or "bad hp, fairly good defenses" for her.

anyways i didn't want her speed or sp. attack to be TOO high but i had to put some points into them to keep her attack or defensive stats from going overly high. she's still got the lowest speed of the trio though.

...also i guess if she isn't part Fighting than she shouldn't have Scrappy. that's too bad, i felt like it fit her so well.

okay so i got bored this afternoon and absentmindedly made some... stuff. stuff about my ocs, which i still need to make Real Art of someday. i don't want yet another useless notepad file i'll never look at rotting in my Documents folder forever, but i also don't want to just delete the stuff i just put together...

so even though it's not anything "finished" and you guys don't really have context for much of this stuff, i'm gonna stick it in this thread for now. mostly for the sake of storing it so i may find it again and possibly expand upon it in the future. (because if i saved this shit to my computer i'd literally never take the time to look at it again.)
