Ah jeez all these whippersnappers to add
It seems the only people I'm still waiting to hear from are SS and BE. Welcome to the forums, the two of you that are new!

Just because I know you're all a bunch of absentminded "people", my 3DS friend card says Shoe on it.

And nooooooo don't lurk here, come out and chat! The water's lovely and we don't bite... Except Sharpedo. But he bites out of love. Probably. Nobody survives to tell us otherwise...

Re: Friend Codes
Hi guys I need to be more active here. My friend code is3652-0624-5549 and I have an Electric-type friend safari which contains Pikachus, Pachirisus, and Galvantulas.
But anyway cephalopodAscendant told me that a person had a friend safari with Sliggoos, so I am mostly here for that.

Okay I've added everyone who is on the front page and some people who are not. If anyone still needs me to add them though, then feel free to mention it!

I added what I know, but I don't understand the right two columns. Probably since I haven't gotten far enough in the game. I only know what's in my Friend Safari since CA tested it and told me.

Re: Friend Codes
I'm going to use my Lightsworn Lumina's effect to discard my Lightsworn Wulf and special summon another Lumina from the graveyard. Then I'm gonna discard my Plaguespreader Zombie, use the new Lumina's effect and special summon Wulf! Then Imma gonna sacrifice Lumina number one and tribute summon my Lightswon Celestia, and destroy your two monsters via trigger effect. And, ummm... and I'm going to use my discarded Plaguespreader's effect, discard Necro Gardna from my hand and special summon my Zombie. It's a tuner, so I'm gonna Synchro Summon Michael, Lightsworn Ark, by tributing my Zombie and Celestia. And by Michael, I mean Nelly. I summon Nelly. Nelly, get over here!
Nelly what's your 3DS code!!
P.S. I totally won I had Judgment Dragon in my hand and everything

Re: Friend Codes
Goddamn.
But you know statistically my thing has a much bigger chance of happening.(E: Only for the fact that I don't own any cards and if I did I'd be short a few thousand euro and also the only time I ever played was on a video game before the Nelly Proxy card existed)
But by Exodia you also meant Nelly right?

Re: Friend Codes
PSSSH get out of here with your infinite loops and respected card games, you haven't lived 'till you've strung together an 8 card combo on the ropes turn after turn with a Lightsworn* Yugioh deck!
Or a Deck-and-Cover TCG deck now that I think about it. Which is exactly what I've been using officially at League for the last year. Gosh I sure do like to live __________**.
*the only YuGiOh I've ever enjoyed. It's a remarkably varied, quick, unusual and technical archetype***, no match was ever the same twice, or completely (un!)winnable. Like my D&C pokemon deck.
**dangerously/skillfully/with occasional reference to card games
***okay to be fair because of YuGiOh's structure and lack of rotation there are a HUUUUUGE amount of archetypes, all interchangeable and all unique. But somehow I just like Lightsworns. They're a mill deck... You mill your OWN deck. Fun times.

As a faithful Member of the Dimir "no guild, what are you talking about" I love some good milling though I generally prefer to mill my opponent. Selfmilling is more something for those Golgari guys. I mean, sure, I enjoy an occasional mill-necro deck as well but, eh, not enough counterspells.

Re: Friend Codes
I never got into MTG. Don't get me wrong, I had SO many chances. But that's the point; why get into MtG in the students union when I could spend that time teaching my friends how to play the Pokémon TCG? Plus I only ever had one deck, some starter thingy years and years ago and while I still remember how to play, I lost interest in my cards after a dog did something icky to them.
I wish there were stable online clients to play card games on, with automated rules and free card choices. Nothing ever has all of them and I'd KILL to play a no-strings-attached game with my trusty Accelgor deck or a Lightsworn one online.
I keep expecting somebody to post contributing to the "let's get nelly's friend code" thing but you guys never disappoint.
In a sense of the word.

I lean more towards Gruul for standard, because aggro will never die. I don't really like milling though. It's tedious, and I'd prefer to win via faster methods. My Standard Gruul aggro deck can put you on a 4 turn clock.

Re: Friend Codes
Ugggh all this talk makes me want to play again uggggh
(Though for the record self-milling decks, at least when put together well and OUTSIDE MTG, ate very fast decks. Faster card access)
(Though the only Pokémon kill deck at the moment is Aggron/Sableye and it is a very slow deck)

Re: Friend Codes
Hanky, please, aggro might try to put you on a clock and heck, if it works for you, good for you. I'll personally always prefer a slow control deck to a fast aggro one. I just don't work too well with fast aggro.
And yeah, aggro ain't the only decks that can be fast, necro decks can be insultingly fast.

Re: Friend Codes
Reanimate a 15/15 creature
pay 15 life on t2
wreck face t3
works against everything but burn.
If I can get ahead of the control player, right now in standard, I can win before Supreme Verdict hits the board. Especially since control decks right now use a LOT of color fixing in the form of scry lands. That puts you a turn behind, even if you do have superior draws. Heck, on t3 I can have a Rakdos Cackler hit you for 4, bloodrush a ghor-clan rampager onto it for another 4, and burn your face with Ordeal of Purphoros for another 3. That's 11. And what if I have 2 BTEs that I chained last turn? 15. Now you're almost dead. And if I'm on the play? Ooooh.
also so that we can quit clogging the friend codes thread, i made a tcg thread that i completely expect to wander off topic if anyone even posts in it: https://pokemonquarantine.forumotion.com/t77-the-tcg-corner
